Well now. The first batter could've (should've) been called out on strikes. The strike 'em out throw 'em out was deemed ball four (but was a strike). Thats 4 outs this inning already! I'm not sure I recall seeing such a fiasco. And now bases chucked. In any event the Rays will have 6 outs this inning. Yikes.

Needed strike three on the previous hitter. That should have been a K, caught stealing, out of inning. Instead, the based are loaded because the ump can’t do his job. Time for bots. The single blown strike call was worth .92 or .93 runs on average to the Rays. Porcello's record will not reflect it, either way.

Porcello, being a real pitcher, bore down and ended the inning.

That stadium is so crummy, it's noticeably less enjoyable to watch a game in that stadium on TV.

If Kinsler doesn't start hitting, I am at risk of starting to complain.

Smart! Give Sandy Leon the green light 3-0

Kind of happy this is the last series with these guys this year. The Rays record this year, minus Sox games, is 63-50.

Smart! Give Sandy Leon the green light 3-0 I think they have mentioned that Cora gives all his players the greenlight on 3-0. Meaning, I don't think there is a take sign.

What an ugly series to this point. The Yankees winning makes it even worse

Ugh...lack of offense puts so much pressure on our pitchers for needing to be perfect.

We’re going to end up losing 5 or 6 games during Devers dl stint.

Its almost like Devers, Sale, and ERod are very important pieces of this team.

Its almost like Devers, Sale, and ERod are very important pieces of this team. They are, but we should not be losing to this gimmicky team with who we have. We are still better in all facets of the game.

What an ugly series to this point. The Yankees winning makes it even worse I don't see the MFYs losing to the O's this weekend. Meanwhile, it would be nice if the Sox could win this game as their slumping offense faces Snell next. The lead could be 6 after the weekend. Still a decent lead but the Sox have the Braves and Astro's starting off September.

I know we are very capable of coming back but our offense has just just showed no energy to this point. They have proved me wrong before
