Some interesting things after that inning - Mookie is back to .340, 2 pts ahead of JDM
JBJ is at .230!
Nunez is scorching his way toward .270.
We've built a lead that our bullpen can't blow, I believe!

Anybody remember anything like this? Tap into your memory banks - even after 51 years of watching this team, I can't recall this kind of inning. Only been watching closely for 38, but nope. This is great!

X-Rays negative on Price... so he shouldn’t be out too long, right?

This is great! The best game I remember in recent memory was a 7 run 9th against Seattle. But I really think there have been more 11 run innings in the last few years.

In fact, I wonder if a team has ever had a higher batting average in an inning with as many or more hits. 12 for 13.
Alas, b-Ref's play index doesn't have an Innings finder. It really ought to.

I had no idea there were 12 hits in that inning. I wasn't paying that close of attention. I remember laughing at Mookie's bloop single to RF that hit the chalk.

Pomeranz hitting 93 on the radar gun. The bullpen agrees with him.

What the heck! Pomeranz is touching 93 on the gun great sign maybe he can be the lefty we need in the bullpen come playoff time. That ortega ab was awesome pounded the strike zone and didn't take 3 mins between pitches

Nice work, Dan. This kind of instant research is part of what makes me really appreciate this community. I remember exactly where I was, what I was doing and who I was watching with when the Sox put that on the Marlins in 2003. I'll never forget it because I had never seen anything like that inning. Until tonight. It was the first thing I thought of when they passed five or six tonight...

In spite of the walk that was a good looking Pomeranz. The walk was a tough at bat where you have to credit the hitter.

Sure, what I miss stuck in a long - couldn’t even check my phone after the second inning - meeting on the left coast.
Great win!
