I'd be pretty pissed if I was Mookie, lead or no. Throw 101 at somebody else's melon. Sometimes a pitch gets away, and I get that. But if your control is as consistently poor as this, that isn't safe. Guy had thrown what 38 pitches? He reached back and let it go early....not trying to hit Mookie or send a message.

It wasn’t on purpose, but it’s scary that the guy threw 38 pitches at about 100 and knew where half of them were going. Dangerous.

I never said anything about intent... and that's my point. He unleashes 101 with zero control. This wasn't a case of a guy just letting one get away; he was spraying balls all over the place for the entire inning. Guerrero needs to be better at his job for his opponent's safety. And now Kimbrel comes out and does the same thing just as I type this.

Don’t miss the glove by 3 feet But they should have electronic strike zones at this point. At least give teams some challenges.

This sort of pressure means I’ll be up 45 minutes after the end of the game win or lose. Thanks Craig.
edit. Now that it’s tied, I’m turning the game off out of spite against the closer. I know it’s not rational and Kimbrel doesn’t care if I watch or not. It’s the only way I have to protest his poor performance tonight.
