Boy, I'm glad I didn't see the last page worth of posts with people rooting for us to get no-hit and saying our offense is dead before we scored a bunch of runs; I would've been annoyed. As it is, it's just funny. Our offense had been dead before we scored 3 runs though. Besides the one guy rooting for a no-hitter against, everything said was just factual. A no-hitter would be painful but This offense has been in a serious funk for a while now except a few innings here and there. They need to be woken up. I would have taken the short term pain (no hitter) in hopes of hitting rock bottom and getting a wake up call for long term success

Vazquez does a great job catching Wright on top of it all. It's probably his best attribute to this team, catching that pitch perfectly. He reduces the chance of a passed ball with a man on third base.
Folks, Wright looks really good. I'm starting to really like this bullpen.

Lol the Braves just had to face 100 mph Eovaldi. Now try to hit a knuckleball. Just awesome stuff. I was actually thinking that having a planned piggyback of Wright followed by Eovaldi would be potent. Wright can go through the lineup twice, then Eovaldi once through will look like his fastball is about 175 mph.

The offense has been frustrating of late, in no small part because I’ve grown spoiled. But today is a reminder (in miniature) of what makes it good. I am not going to give guys a hard time for struggling with a really good young pitcher they’ve never seen before once or twice through. But by time three, we see how special Mookie and others are. Even a really good pitcher just runs out of tricks.
I think one huge advantage the Sox will have in the playoffs, at least, is there will be fewer surprises. Most pitchers they see will be guys they’ve seen a bit of before.

Amazing how Eovaldi and Kelly both throw flames, but both find lot of bats.
Glad we have lots of arms out there today - we are going to need them.

I was kind of curious why Cora took out Wright. Probably taking it easy in his first appearance back in the majors.

I am already getting anxiety thinking about Kimbrel coming in today. Ugh. I can't be the only one?

I don’t watch the Braves... is this typical? They are just grinding our pitchers down. Over 150 pitches through 6.2? Absurd.

Brasier has thrown a lot of pitches the past week. Probably a good move to get him out of there. Then again, Hembree is a coin flip.

Hembree vs Albies is really the matchup Cora wants?

Kind of thought you'd run Bradley here and bring him in for defense.
