Gotta love the Borckstar! spelling , but true !! I'm a little baffled by what autocorrect thought it was doing there.

Devers has been jerked around so much with the DL stints, it's kind of hard to say with him. His wRC+ has actually only dropped from 86 to 82 from the first to the second half. At a certain point it looked like he was heating up, but then the "injuries" hit. All in all, I'd say the lineup has some guys running hot, some guys running cold, and some guys treading water. Kind of the usual. And considering how good the offense is overall, that seems fine. Yeah Incandeza, that's fair, but the guys who are treading water are REALLY treading water. I mean, Leon hasn't had a hit since August 23rd. That is like a historic slump right there. Benintendi has dropped over 65 points OPS wise since June (he had a OPS of over .900 by that time). Kinsler has only really brought the glove since coming over. Hasn't gotten hot at all. Devers has been bad all year outside of a homerun here and there. Just would like to see a little more outside of the first 4 hitters. Since you're repeating yourself I'll just note that as stated on the broadcast Kinsler is hitting well over .300 (.333) over his last 16 games. As already expressed, Devers has missed much of the past month-plus. If you must get upset about offensive struggles it's Moreland (who has just reverted to who he is), the non-Swihart catchers (Leon really) and not much more...

For those who think it; No way is Holt left off the Playoff Roster That was never going to happen.

It's amazing to me how Poyner can live up in the zone and make a living there. Guy must hide the ball so well.

I'm speechless after seeing that play by McNeil. Just wow. That's like one of Pedroia's better highlight plays.

It gave us an extra run so we can’t complain too Much but there’s no way u can overturn. It was a clearly over the line how do you get a call so wrong with so many angles. Smdh

I wonder who gets the 7th and 8th? Wright and Brasier should get those innings, but I wonder who gets what inning.

The line isn't even necessary because it's the top of the wall that matters. The ball hit the front of the top of the wall and did not continue over the wall. How much clearer can it get? The fence held the ball in the ballpark. It didn't hit the railing or a fan. I mean they did not paint the line a fraction of an inch below the top of the wall, right?

Smdh As I said above, it's equivalent to a ball that hits the top of the wall and bounces back onto the field; if it bounces over the wall it's a homer, which is what most of those ledge balls do, but it didn't. It was the right call.

Looks to hit over the line onto the ledge from the Met feeds. Every angle I saw on Mets broadcast looked to be a clear home run maybe nesn had a different angle but I’m blacked out

I think what people are having trouble with is the top corner of the wall is still the red line. It would have to hit the top of the wall, as in the flat ledge of the top of the wall. And the ball couldn't really hit that and bounce up and forward back onto the field.

I still think it could have scraped the fans hand and still went up into the air. You couldn't tell because of the velocity of the ball though. It moves too quick and it's too fast to tell. His hand was right there if you look at the replay.

this is the problem with Wright as a late inning arm....i wouldnt want to use him in the 7th or 8th of a close game, pitch is too unpredictable.
