Hey ESPN crew, this is not a Yankees game. They have been crying since Judge got hurt. You would think they are the only team that has had any injuries if you just listen to them.

They're talking about Lindor turning down an offer of $100 million and I can just never understand why anyone would do that. Like, what's the difference between $100 million and $300 million? Would you even notice the difference? But turn down the 100 mil and an injury or illness might end your career before you see any of it.

We ought to be talking about whether Moreland should be starting playoff games or just impersonating Doug Mientkiewicz. Pearce hasn't looked that great either today

Has the mic near the plate been this loud all game?

I think the fear of having to play the MFY's in the playoffs is understandable, but not really rational. In the end, our guys are going to play whomever is there without any fear. It isn't really knowable who would be the preferred opponent, it is more likely rooted in personal bias, not being critical of anyone.
We have the best team in the league this year by record, we got all the talent and necessary components, we are just gonna need lady luck to play it even (or shine on us, preferably)

Has the mic near the plate been this loud all game? Yes. ARod was trying to make some point earlier and the crowd got a little loud for a few seconds and you couldn't hear what he was saying at all (not that I'm complaining about that).

[whispers] I kind of like A-Rod as an announcer... I'm fine saying that out loud. I think he's great.

[whispers] I kind of like A-Rod as an announcer... he isn't terrible....I agree. But I still dislike him immensely. JBJ has a great arm, but sometimes his throws can be way off line.

Thank God this is the last time we have to listen to these ESPN clowns all year. Hopefully they redo the entire sunday night team. They are obnoxious, overbearing and horrible at this.

Mookie is such a bum, only a double when he needed a triple! /s Especially since, had he stretched that into a triple, he would have had a cycle. Maybe next AB.

Lol I understand wanting to maybe instill confidence in CV...? (Only explanation I can think of for that. And resting players). But the guy truly can't even square up a middle middle fastball and you've got JD and Swihart on the bench with a chance to clinch best record / avoid extra innings and you don't do it...? Cora baffles me sometimes.
