So who are you guys going to be rooting for to face the Sox in the World Series? Personally I want the Brewers. I feel like we match up better against them and it’d be a much entertaining matchup.

The Brewers. Having to go to the west coast just always makes me nervous.

Brew Crew is a fun team. I like having an underdog. I'll still hope for a sweep a la 2007 murdering of Rocktober.

Brewers might be an easier opponent. But it would be nice to see Eovaldi drill Machado with a 101 mph fastball.

Despite the records I think LA is a good deal better than the Brewers. I like their pitching a lot better, although their bullpen might have some vulnerabilities. The Brewers pen is tired and their rotation is thin.
Both have good offenses but up and down the lineup the Dodgers' lineup is scarier and they have an even deeper bench. Both teams will have no problem finding productive DHs.
I think the Sox have a great shot of beating Milwaukee if they play but I think more satisfaction would be have from being LA.
Honestly my nerves would prefer the Brewers (although you always have to be careful of what you wish for), so I'll vote Brewers.
It's also naturally hard to ever root against Dave Roberts anyways.

The Brewers' pitching is amazingly mediocre. Cn't imagine them having success against our lineup.
But I also would love to kick Machado's ass

I do not care at all. Line ‘em up, and our boys will knock ‘em down. One at a time.

I'd like to see the Dodgers go home losers 2 years in a row & Machado being on the team would make it an added bonus.

I don't care, just want the NLCS to go 7 games. Both teams are really interesting and would love to see how the Red Sox would manage the roster against the Brewers pitching staff. I want to see that TBA for every game from the Brewers.
I don't have a lot of interest in watching Machado run the bases and inflict damage to any more Red Sox. Would be fun to watch him lose, but also does he seemingly even care? Risk of injury to more infielders isn't worth the joy of watching him lose. Maybe he'll snap his leg in half in Game 6 and we won't have to worry about it.

Brewers, but only because I don't want to see any 9pm start times. I'm selfish....

LA, I want to beat the better team. If we didn't make it past Houston I'd be rooting for Milwaukee however.

The Dodgers. I don’t really like the Dodgers per se, but I would like to see Kershaw get a ring at some point in his career. The dude is a historically great pitcher and deserves a ring...just not this year I hope.
I’m saying the Dodgers because they are the team I would rather see win it if the Red Sox don’t.

But it's also so easy to root against Machado. That's true. If you could pick the guy who is "last out of the World Series" that you dream about Machado would be that guy, but my dislike for Machado doesn't outweigh my gratitude for Dave Roberts. Also like Rich Hill as well, but don't really have an emotional attachment. I'll always remember that shutout he threw that Betts made an amazing catch to rob some batter of a HR to preserve the shutout with 2 outs in the 9th. Assuming it's LA/Boston, when they do the introductions at Fenway Dave Roberts might get almost as much applause as Alex Cora does, and Cora's applause will be ear splitting.

I just hope whatever the NL team gets in, it takes 7 games and a lot of innings.
Brewers are up in game 6, so that's a great sign of my wish coming true.

If it's the Brew' the payroll comparison will be a talking point and the new stadium? I don't like it. But they are an easier opponent.
Dodgers have the nice stadium and palm trees and will just have come off a 7 game stress series before catching a flight for Boston. I don't like picking LAD but I'm going to.

It may be more emotionally satisfying to defeat the better team but the World Series rings will fit the same if they beat the Brewers. The fact that they defeated a gassed Rockies team in 2007 didn't diminish the feat. And quite honestly a small market team like Milwaukee will have more limited opportunities to get to the Series. And if Boston loses I'd rather it be to a Cinderella than a perennial contender.

I want the better team so I'll go with the Dodgers. Better team though depends on Kershaw. If he's not healthy, the Brewers are the better team.
