World Series Winner: Red Sox Number of Games: Sweep 4 games World Series MVP: Xander
Better team in pretty much every aspect. Only pitching match up that scares me is Hill/Porcello Xander is getting what he needs, a break.

Who is the last player to win MVP, batting champion, and world series MVP?
I hope it's Mookie.

Sox in six. edit 10/23 given Devers inclusion in Game 1 starting lineup: Rafael Devers wins MVP on the strength of a 3 HR showing and some flashy plays in the field, celebrating his 22nd birthday (Oct 24) in style.

Dodgers in 6 or 7 games - I'll go with 6 games. MVP is either Kerhsaw, Turner or Puig, but I'll go with Turner, although I think Puig is going to have a big series and I think Kershaw will shed his label as a guy who can't win the big one.
I think the Sox will have trouble hitting the LA lefty starting pitchers and the pen will struggle to get the LA lefty batters out, including Barnes and Brasier. Wright's loss will be felt in this series.
I don't think LA, because of their flexible lineup and LH dominant bullpen, along with the Sox losing the DH is a favorable matchup for the Sox.
I think Sale will struggle and the best starter in the Series will be Price who gets another win but has the bullpen mess up his other game.
I've been wrong plenty and oh, would I absolutely love to be wrong here! Had the Sox played the Brewers as I was hoping, I'd have picked the Sox in 5 - that Brewers pitching staff was in tatters.
The path for Sox victory would be a dominant Sale and Price and Eovaldi pitching like he has - they need a lot of innings from their starters, and the offense would have to rake against Ryu and Hill. Price would need to win both starts and Sale has to at least split his starts against Kershaw and then hope Eovaldi wins or at least splits his start.

If the Sox win, you have an ID letter count problem. I remember I couldn't do Left of Left Coast Bosox Fan

That's like complaining that you're running out of decorating room in your Red Sox shrine if the Red Sox win another World Series, which would be a dilemma I'd actually be joyfully having!

Prediction: redsox040713champs will get a lot of I told ya so's. His prediction was predictable Perhaps but it's an honest opinion even if it's not popular. I said it before the Dodgers/Brewers series was over, I wanted Milwaukee because I figured the Red Sox would tear them to shreds - so I don't always pick against the Sox. The problem is that the Brewers ran out of miracles or effective relief pitching as Jeffress was completely toast by the end of the series.

Sox will win 4 before they lose 4. If you have bee watching this season I don't know how you could think different.
