Hansel Viola in the DSL appears to have been released as well. Not so hot right now.
Ganns looks like a victim of the squeeze caused by the bumper crop of corner infielders in the 2018 draft plus Diaz. Betts looks like he got similarly squeezed by the AA/AAA logjam.
Tough breaks for Glorius, who was really wild in his brief return from injury, and Ahearn, who was a swing guy between the three A-ball levels.
Hopefully the early releases allow them all to find spots with other teams.
