Ben Badler released his preview of the top prospects for the 2019-20 international signing period. The Red Sox are not tied to any of the top prospects, while the Yankees seem to be going all in on the top prospect for the period (Jasson Dominguez). It will be interesting to see if the Red Sox employ the same strategy as last year (six figure bonuses spread around a larger group of prospects).
Sanchez would certainly be a nice potential option at 2B/SS going forward. He made a ton of contact as a teenager in the Cuban league. Judging by reports it seems like he’s got above-average to plus speed, glove, and Arm

Badler released another update today. The only mention of the Red Sox is for a player that might end up going to the Yankees instead:
Jhon Diaz, OF, Dominican Republic
Diaz is smaller than the other top players in the class, but he's one of the most skilled game players for 2019. He's a lefty who consistently performs well in games with a quick, simple swing and a knack for barreling the ball against live pitching. He's a center fielder with good defensive instincts and one of the smartest baseball IQ players in the country. There was some talk that the Red Sox would be the favorites for Diaz, though more recently there's been buzz on the Yankees here. Diaz trains with German Rosario.
I am very much rooting for a Jhon Diaz, to go with Jonathan Diaz and Jhonathan Diaz. Also I hope they bring back the other Jonathan Diaz.
"We really don't need the whole commercial break/warm-up routine every time a new reliever comes into the game. It certainly made sense in 1884 when they only switched pitchers when the starter was attacked by pickaxe or caught consumption, and no reliever was warming up because he was busy gambling and drinking." - JD
