What is the over/under for hits from our guys tonight? 3.5? I am hammering the under if it is that high. Odds on a no hitter are 12-1

Baseball's blackout rules are ridiculous and archaic. I mean, don't they want more eyeballs on their ads. How friggin 1980's this is.
I get screwed many games in the year, despite paying for access to all the team's games.
Anyway, we can all get along trying to whoop some MFY ass !! Let's go !!

For those who were trying to argue that Paxton isn't that great, report now. No one said that. Everyone believes he's good or really good, but can't stay healthy, which is a huge problem. You can't be great if you can't pitch.

I’m upset with the Red Sox organization right now. After thinking It through, I’ve come to understand that I have a “relationship “ with the team and I love them even if I’m irritated with them now. Like everyone here, I take a particular interest in following prospects and Blake Swihart was one of the prospects I enjoyed following even more than most. Since he’s leaving soon that bothers me. That doesn’t mean I think I’m smarter than the baseball operations people, but I badly wanted to see him play a full season.
I’m separately irritated with the underperforming players. I had zero expectations that they’d win another 108 games, but given that only two guys left the roster from the most dominant team in Sox history and also given the massive payroll, it’s pretty reasonable to expect the team to not suck, which they do right now.
So I’m mad at the Red Sox team that I love.

Any pitcher can look like Randy Johnson against the Sox right now.

Seems like a lot of our hitters love to hit into the teeth of the shifts other teams set up for them. Going the other way on a pitch seems to be a lost art.

Any pitcher can look like Randy Johnson against the Sox right now. Especially when they're lefties hitting the black with 99 mph and a really nasty cutter.

People will say look at the numbers.....but this offense doesn't seem right at all. Not enough taters.

Brett Gardner is my current title holder for “Least favorite Yankee”. I hate that he just doubled.

Except that he doesn't look like Straily. He looks like the best pitcher in the league, even if there were no batters in the box. It's fine to be frustrated with not hitting Straily, but it's a bit much to expect them to go off against Paxton.
