They're meant to be a lot less formal than other threads on the forum, so to moderate them the same way would be silly. However, we do ask posters to maintain a certain level of decorum in these threads, and we plan on moderating the Gameday threads a little more actively this season. In particular, we ask that posters refrain from being overly repetitive with their posts (if you've made your point, let it go), refrain from monopolizing the discussion (if you are making more than a couple posts in a row, you probably need to slow down a little bit), and of course, follow the Ground Rules ( link). The point is to make these threads worth participating in and fun for all posters, from our long-time fixtures to people just signing up today. -The Management

Little return to Chicago what the doctor ordered for Sale?
This stretch of the schedule is where the Red Sox really need to do some damage and get back in the mix.

Little return to Chicago what the doctor ordered for Sale? This stretch of the schedule is where the Red Sox really need to do some damage and get back in the mix. White Sox lineup is no slouch by any means. 5.07 runs per game, .260 batting average (2nd to Houston in the AL), .330 OBP. Their pitching, however... As a team that should have money and in a division that might be won with 83 games, Keuchel should be a target for them.

White Sox have some high ERAs right now. Dont want to see any offensive lapses here.

I don't remember RS playing well in Chicago but you have to like the matchups even though the success hasn't been there for the most part. Looking for a split --at worst-- or better.

Nice pitch by Price that got hit for a HR. Hate it when that happens.

Not pulling any punches on WEEI. When McCann’s hit went out, they said that the ball is juiced this year.

what do y'all think? Is Chavis about to get exposed? Their is discussion in that thread about how you can just pound the ball up in the zone on Chavis and he can't hit it because of his swing path, and that's how Giolito got him out.

Nope, but I feel like the announcers used to be less direct about criticizing MLB or the umps. They also said that the HP ump tomorrow, Bucknor, sucks at calling balls and strikes.

JBJ has the hitch in his swing again. He's not going to get it right again before he gets rid of it. He's only hits well when his hands are still before he pulls the trigger. Now he's pulling his hands back as he pulls the trigger.

Price has been the MVP of the rotation so far. One mistake and that's it so far tonight.

When ever I see a bunt hit I wonder why JBJ doesn't try to do it. Better than 80% more exciting than see him swing and miss.

definitely feels like JBJ is either striking out or rolling over to the right side in the majority of his plate appearances

The hole JBJ is digging himself is getting so deep. Can he even get to .200 this year? Sad...

Is it crazy to think Castillo could be a CF option next year at a 10.3M AAV? JBJ will probably at least stay at 8-9ish.
