This just in. All remaining games for the minor league system will be a part of a double header.

A day without Duran (maybe he's on his way to Baltimore)
Casas is one XBH from having a higher IsoP than BA. Feltman loaded the bases just before the Rumble Ponies unloaded them.

Anyone have a chance to get a good look at Marco Hernandez? He started out 1 for 10 with Salem, but he's 15 for 38 with five doubles and just three strikeouts since then. Normally I'd say he should probably be at Portland, but the playing time there is less obvious--they want to get Netzer and Chatham the reps, plus they already have a rehabbing second baseman. So I wonder if they'll just let him beat up Carolina League pitching for a couple more weeks before they decide he's ready for Triple-A.
It is crazy to think he was the PTBNL for Felix Doubront, who really feels like he was from a different lifetime.

I've always been intrigued by Marco Hernandez. Such a shame he got so hurt since it's so hard to come back from being off so long.

I've seen him several times on MilB.TV, he really doesn't look like there's much rust but realistically it's going to take better pitching to get his timing down. In the field, he looks good, his throws which would be the concern seem strong and accurate. I'm actually surprised but don't know how much work he got in before Salem. I really thought there was zero shot at seeing Boston this year, I'm not so sure now.

Casas has been heating up recently. Considering the pretty aggressive assignment thats a very encouraging sign. Hope that he keeps rolling.
