Hungry like the wolf or is he actually a wolf? Perhaps a werewolf as he shines at night...moon or no moon

LOL, I'm riveted to the Sox but Duran with a 2 RBI double to RF. 1/2 so far.
Thad Ward spinning a gem for Greenville.

This makes no sense (bases loaded)
Pedro Castellanos reaches on a fielder's choice. Jagger Rusconi scores. Jarren Duran scores. Marco Hernandez to 2nd.

Everybody running when the ball is hit. Infield tries to make a play at 2B, but the throw is too late as Marco slides in, knocking over the guy covering and Duran never stops running. Simple.

Prob a fielder’s choice but nobody was out on the play. Could’ve been an unmentioned error or something of that nature.

Pedro Castellanos reaches on a fielder's choice, fielded by shortstop Miguelangel Sierra. Jagger Rusconi scores. Jarren Duran scores. Marco Hernandez to 2nd. Fielding error by shortstop Miguelangel Sierra.

Getting Josh Taylor as the PTBNL for Deven Marrero was some serious wizardry.

Josh Ockimey now averaging a HR every 10 AB, and an XBH every 5.9 AB. Not to mention, a 21.2% (!!) walk rate and totally acceptable 28% K rate. I’d like to see the BA about 30 points higher, but it’s tough to make a stink about a 1.013 OPS (?!?!) even if the guy’s hitting .230. What a collection of statistical oddities in the system right now. Plus, 24 K in 11 innings and it looks like they might take the loss. Strange.

Duran with another interesting night. 1/3 2B, BB, HBP, R, 2 RBI
Marco hit by a pitch top of the fifth, pulled bottom of the 6th.

Scherff's in Boston for something, total guess, maybe for the bio-mechanical testing they bring in all their upper echelon pitchers for a time or two during the season.

Watched parts of the Salem game.
Fayetteville's starter was pretty impressive. If the Red Sox were biting on high fastballs he would have dominated the first 4 innings. He hit 97 in the first and maintained 95. He totally lost command to start the 5th.
Jhonathan Diaz page says averagish stuff with good command. I saw averagish stuff with no command.
Duran's 1st AB was a 1-0 sharp linedrive between the left fielder and centerfielder. The LF made an outstanding diving catch or Duran would have been off to the races.
Duran's 2nd AB double was a 1-0 linedrive to RF about where the chart cluster is. The ball carried towards the line and Duran was off to the races out of the box. The right fielder played it well and has a cannon so the play at second was close but he was obviously safe.
The HBP on Hernandez looked like the forearm or elbow (they didn't show a replay or where the trainers were looking). He stayed in the game but came out later.
On the interesting play I mentioned in a post above, there was no fielder's choice about it. Bases loaded, ground ball went through the legs of the shortstop and two runs scored without a throw.
Additional comment. Jagger Rusconi to me looks a lot better than his stats. He is also an excellent defender with a strong arm. I have no clue what's going wrong but his name is pretty cool.

Duplicate video from the Duran thread, Duran's 2 RBI double. Note that he gets to second base before Rusconi (who isn't slow) gets to third.

This will take me a little while but I'm going to screen record it then edit it from the crack of the bat to his touching second base. From just pausing it and looking at the time, it looks like around 7 seconds.
lol, is that good ?

I come up with 7.40 seconds from the ball hitting the bat to his touching second base. There's a lot of room for error though since I don't have the original.

That guy can fly! No surprise then with his gap power that he gets so many triples.
Phil watches so many games and into the night/early morning that he is a natural to advert Nodoze and Visine.

Actually, lifelong insomniac but I'm working on it. I'm not going to sleep until I find the cure. I'm guessing it has something to do with my youth. When I was very young, 5 or 6, I was was hyperactive to the point that I was put on medication (my poor mom). Pre puberty so they gave me speed, ritalin. Then in college my friends would joke that I was a cheap date because 1/4 of a crossroads would wire me for about 24 hours. I could memorize and retain an entire technical book in less than a day, something I couldn't do normally.

When I watched the game in Norwich, I saw the ball go over the left fielder's head and him run to retrieve it. When I looked to see where Duran was, he was slowing down to third base. I wasn't sure how he got there, if he really touched the bases or not.
