Sometimes I wonder who Xander is. He can look good and deplorable like that. Kind of like every hitter ever. If Xander always looked good, he'd have a Babe Ruth batting line.

Here we go with Eduardo's inconsistencies.

Neither of those pitches he just threw for home runs were bad pitches. The one Tellez hit was a foot inside. The second one was a slider down and in on the edge of the plate.

Nevermind, JBJ is still broken at the plate.

Stroman seems to found his sinker again. That pitch is the one i like Porcello to throw.

Pitching in the AL east is about impossible with all these HR parks. They should use unjuiced balls for AL East parks.

E-Rod can't escape the dreaded 2 out damages.

The Sox are waiving the white flag in the 6th inning. Here comes Thornburg.

I feel bad for Thornburg. He used to be a good pitcher. I feel bad for the Sox because they have to keep trotting him out there and he can’t even succeed in garbage time.

It's either a walk or a solid 100+mph hit off Thornburg.

it's actually a bit of a joke that we still have Thornburg on this team

Thornburg is toast people. His fastball command is shot, like it has been all year.
There's no more upside with him for the time being, maybe the rest of his career. That major surgery might have sealed it.

Tyler Thornburg is like The Simpsons. Why is he still on TV?

At least there is clarity about Thornburg's need to go - joining already existing clarity that Nunez needs to go, too. Can't afford two dead end roster spots.
