This video shows how much impact Holt has when he leaves the field. Cancer sucks, however guys like Holt go above and beyond to help these fighters and their families.

I really hope the Red Sox can re-sign him. One of my favorite people who has ever played for the Sox.

A heartwarming and heartbreaking video. I am so glad the Sox hung on to Brock through his injuries and down times. A great contributor on the field, in the clubhouse, and off the field.

I think Brock Holt had said that one of his goals was to be that alumni guy waving to the crowd after his career ends. I have no doubt he'll be around, regardless if he winds up with another team, which I hope doesn't happen.
He's earned his Forever Red Sox status.
I'll always remember that cycle against NY but his biggest hit in my opinion was that opposite field slap double down the 3b line with the 3b shading him toward SS. This hit occurred in a 4-4 tie in the top of the 9th inning of Game 4 of the World Series and it ignited a 5 run inning that killed the Dodgers' chances of getting back into the series. It was a beautiful piece of hitting, the kind you don't see too often today. It was on a 1-2 pitch and while the swing looked awkward it did exactly what he wanted it to do.

He’s a special guy. Couldn’t ask for more on or off the field.
