No lead is safe from Porcello this year.

I like Rick. I think his contract was good for the Sox. It is great that he walks at the end of the year.

I haven't been so down on a pitcher in a long time than Rick Porcello this year.

He’s thrown exactly 1 curve this inning. If he’s going to live FB/Slider he’s gotta paint the corners.

That 5th pitch to LaMahieu was a strike to Devers.

Porcello just doesn't have an out pitch. He can't miss a bat with his fastball, he can't throw his slider for a strike, and he's not throwing anything else.
This is ugly.

that is like - 25-30 pitches the last 3 batters. I don't know if I have ever seen that. He is making pitches, but they keep friggin making contact.

Good ol’ (give it) right-back Rick...
This guy has a mental block pitching in shutdown opportunities and it’s getting worse. He is VERY fortunate the NYY nine hitter chased three balls above the zone on a potential ball four...

Not sure what to do with Porcello but if he can’t hold leads he shouldn’t be starting

Can no one recognize how good the Yankees hitters were that inning? No, it's all just terrible Porcello, giving up 28 foul balls.

that was absolutely brutal. Porcello has thrown a lot of pitches in his career, maybe it just catching up with him.

Wow. This lineup can ruin a guy. Fouling, slugging... yuck. Very nervous this could be the Yankees’ year. I can live with a bad Sox season. I can’t live with a Yankee title.

Yeah, he got out of it but that’s a pretty tough way to pay back your team after they score you 7 runs. Swings the momentum right back the other way.

I’d eat nothing but kale for a week if Porcello can shut them down this inning. I’ll be back in a second. I’m gonna go get a big ice cream sundae. If he didn’t get Judge right there, I was gonna binge eat an entire pan of thick gooey brownies.

And I'd accept that thought for a pitcher whose ERA wasn't getting closer to 6 with every outing. A guy like Price, Sale, heck even ERod lately... those guys deserve some benefit of the doubt when they have an inning like that. Porcello has run out.

He’s been pitching poorly most of the year and if the Yankee C doesn’t chase WELL out of the zone it’s 7-4... He deserves to be questioned for that inning pitched. Perhaps 28 could balls indicates a lack of put away stuff...
