I hope we get a promotion or 2 from AA to AAA. Gorkys & Brentz are not going to be good bench additions for September. Open the door for others.

Loubier with two hitless innings after failing to make it out of the first inning in his debut.

There seems to be an inordinate shortage of less than bigger name promotions this year. Chavis, Mata, Duran, Hernandez, Houck, and Ward have all been promoted. Gimenez, Flores, Howlett and Feltman pretty much skipped levels to start the year. That’s 10 of the top 20 just right there.

Less than bigger name. I'm referring to the Granbergs of the world. For the most part, players who were having bang up years at their level have been promoted as opposed to guys that look like they are ready for the next challenge. Doesn't seem like as many of those as usual.
ADD: Examples of the types of players and their stats that are usually moved during July:
Granberg, Fitzgerald, Browning, McGrath, Gonzalez, Lozada, Castellanos (I'm sure there are more).
Seems like less movement this year than recently.

Red Sox released Algenis Martinez. Kind of weird. He’d been pitching pretty well since he got back. I wonder if they saw something they didn’t like from him or if his injury re-appeared.

Wilson with a game winning 3 run home run in the 9th. 3-5 5 rbis. Like to see him finish strong in AA.
