Chris Owings and Josh Ockimey have taken the Klubot deep.
Charlie Madden and Joey Curletta have also homered of Alex Faedo. Faedo has given up 17 homers in Double-A this year, which is probably suboptimal before he moves up to the juiced ball levels.

Don’t know if this is accurate. That can't be right, can it? Seems pretty drastic to send a guy all the way back to another country rather than just shutting him down for the season and getting reps in whatever intrasquad stuff they do.

Don’t know if this is accurate. Yeah, unless he asked to go back, wouldn't this be like a first such demotion from GCL to DSL?

Thy only other one I can remember (and I only remember this because it was rare) was Ivan Houellemont in 2016. And he was a totally different situation as a draft-eligible but undrafted FA out of Puerto Rico. I'd wait on news on Diaz though. It's possible that this might just be a roster error on milb, a paper move for roster configuration purposes, an injury situation... something other than a true demotion.

CRUSHED to deep left center! Nice power right there. Be nice to see more of that.

Bryan Gonzalez ties Albert Feliz with homer #8 - a 6th inning grand slam. Red Sox2 scored in seven of eight innings.

Wait a minute, Columbus's catcher was Dioner Navarro? He was apparently out of affiliated ball for two years.

4 hit game for Axel James. Been a steady contributor for the DSL all year at 17.
.290/.369/.419/.788
Jesus Maita pitched the ninth today. No walks, no hits, one strikeout. Not sure if it was just because the game was a blowout or if he’s making the switch to pitcher. He hasn’t found much success at the plate over his first season and a half.

Hadn't played since 7/15 so it's not impossible he's transitioning.

Browning with his first save tonight. His promotion was a long time coming, so it must feel nice.

He had a decent season last year in the lower minors. K rate has been consistently good per IP. Only his second year in pro ball but I think he’s starting to open some eyes.

Not that this means much as to anything underlying, but when the national anthem was played at a game I attended, all the players except Diaz stood at attention with hats over heart. Diaz was (unsuccessfully) trying to engage a player next to him in conversation during the entire time.

Only his second year in pro ball but I think he’s starting to open some eyes. 23yo drafted last year as a college senior given no bonus who the org declined to promote despite great numbers while others with similar profiles (Gomez, Demchak) were. Stats as a RP in Greenville who is old for the level aren't going to move the dial much. That said, he was #61 and would've been ranked had they traded anyone at the deadline. If he has success in Salem, he'll almost certainly be ranked at the end of the season.
