MiLB says Enmanuel De Jesus will start for Salem, but I'm not convinced. I think they're just using the rotation in order. I don't think they have any inside info.
My guess would be Jhonathan Diaz or Thaddeus Ward in some order for the 1st two games. We'll see.
EDIT - Apparently I was wrong

Song for Lowell. Interesting part will be who's following him. Could see them stacking guys.

Now, how much info they may have at a given time is another story.

Groome tomorrow for Lowell, per Chris Smith.
It will be interesting to see which starters they use in relief. They have 6 games max. After Song and Groome (who'll only go 1 or 2), you've got Zeferjahn, Murphy, Aldo, YPA, Lucas, Sanchez all as starters or long guys. After Groome, do you throw another short inning guy? Or YPA?

Granberg with a 3R HR to center in the first. No outs yet.
First 4 batters hit for the cycle.
SalSox batted around in the first inning:
S,D,HR,T,D,GO,HBP,S,K,PO
4-0 (they left the bases loaded).

With the usual disclaimers about info flowing out of Lowell--a reminder that they moved him to Greenville and he pitched there 8/31, so I'd be surprised if he came back.

Only the 4th inning but Curcio is a double shy of the cycle.

Benge added a 2R HR (and a nice play in the field). Sox up 8-3 6th.

I think you follow Groome with Zeferjahn and then throw out YPA in Game 3. But I clearly have no idea what I'm what I am talking about.

What a shameful offensive performance from Lowell. Wasting away a great pitching day which produced 16 strikeouts! Antonio Flores should not be in any starting playoff lineup right now with his struggles. I hope the Sox front office realize the aggressive promotion they made with Flores was too much, and barring a big growth spurt, he’s not ready for Greenville at the start of next year,

I'm sure the Red Sox would love for Lowell to have playoff success but prospect development is ultimately still most important 2. How would growing make him ready for Greenville? His issues have nothing to do with size.

I'm sorry that you feel that the performance of an 18-year-old shortstop brings shame upon you, allegedly a grown-a*s man.
I mean, I can understand being heated at Rick Porcello's fastball's getting too much plate or frustrated with the decision to have Eduardo Nunez keep playing second base or even impatient with Rafael Devers' defense when they're happening at the major league level and the stakes are (in relative terms) high. But Antoni Flores struggling at Lowell is not something you should be getting upset about. Didn't you say you're a youth coach? Is that how you respond when learners struggle?

Ah, I apparently had the timeline wrong, but I do think he rejoined them. Fairly certain he was posting from the locker room. Edit: I definitely might be wrong on this. Will project Aldo for game 3 if they win tonight to be safe! Edit 2: How about Here's Aldo as a nickname? Or Ind Aldo Ow?

I said the entire lowell teams offensive performance was shameful after the pitching staff recorded 16 strikeouts. Never did I call Flores shameful All I said was Flores wasn’t ready for the promotion, and should have been in a starting playoff lineup with his recent hitting struggles. In game 2, I didn’t see him in the lineup. No I’m not a youth coach, I’m a high school coach, but not in baseball. Different sport. Baseball, I’m just a big fan of the game. When learners struggle, I find ways to dial it back and rebuild their confidence. I fear the Sox management made the wrong move with Flores this year and I hope they don’t rush him up again.(albeit my comment about not promoting him to Greenville at the beginning of next year)
