Last MiLB Gameday thread of the 2019 season. It's been fun guys.
A Spinners victory and NYPL Championship would be a great way to the end the season!

If Brooklyn continues to follow their pitching schedule, it'll be Michel Otanez followed by Mitch Ragan. The big name, Matthew Allan, should be available though, as he last pitched on the 5th. Allan was rated 16th in the draft class by BA, but he fell to the third round because of bonus demands and a University of Florida commitment. The Mets were able to put together $2.5M to sign him, a record for a third rounder. He's been basically going in two-inning stints.

Groome vs Allen for all of the marbles would be a sexy matchup. Even if both were only going a couple of innings.
It sounds like Allen would be more likely in relief though.

I'm curious as to where Groome's FB is at, even this early back from TJ. Saw 1 of his games back in 2016 and was 91-93 as remember.

This strike anyone else as a bit of a weird lineup? I think the lineup isn't necessarily weird in itself, just weird that they picked now to move Decker up to second in the order.

THIS: Ian Cundall Ian Cundall· When I talk about the depth in low minors of the #RedSox system coming back this Lowell team is the prime example. By the end of the season they had 10 of @soxprospects Top 20 prospects on their roster. Five starting pitching prospects and five position player prospects.

Let me offer my thanks, too, for the hard work and imagination you put into these game day threads. First thing I look at to start the day.
