Fun fact Benny has 6 doubles, JBJ is batting .167, Betts is batting .248 It’s true. Mookie has had a rough, injury plagued year that has dropped him to *checks notes* 12th in the NL in player WAR. He's been rather subpar at the plate though you have to admit. I'll still take him, but not at the contract he's currently playing under. He would easily be their most valuable outfielder though, unless you count JDM I guess.

Mookie's season is right in the sweet spot where he's having a nice season but not doing anything that will put a LA on his hall of fame bust's cap.
I'm rooting for him but would be kinda bummed if he had an 1100 OPS or something.

Can Bloom pull the trigger on any home-grown HOFer, or do we get half his WAR and couple minor leaguers for him?

Girardi had a pretty slow hook.

I hope the Red Sox ownership lets Bloom spend the money on Devers !!!!!!! Ownership offered Mookie $300 million and he turned it down!!! You can’t MAKE a player stay.

I'll admit, I used to be a big fan of Vince Velasquez. Woof.

Dalbec is up to .224 BA and .693 OPS and climbing.

He signed for 12/365. 300 million wasn't enough. Also, we don't know if he signed the extension due to COVID-19 concerns and fears that the money might not be there for him.

The Phillies need to tear this mess down. They could get a bunch for Wheeler, maybe Realmuto. See if you can pay someone to take Harper. etc. But this team is the 5th most expensive in baseball and going nowhere.

LA will eventually regret the signing......like Ellsbury, Stanton, Carl Crawford, Pujols by the Angels......

9 runs *might* be enough for Richards.

9 runs *might* be enough for Richards. I'd feel more comfortable with another run, or 5.

9 runs *might* be enough for Richards. We’re out of the first two innings, he’s an acceptable pitcher now He types as he walks a man

Still, even in a down season he's still very productive. 12 years is a long time think so having productive, but not elite seasons in the early years isn't great.

I know some people have been down on him, but I like Ellis. And listening to him made me look back at his stats. In 18 years he played 140+ games 5 times. If he’d stayed healthy, he would be a HOFer.

Always felt that if Burks had been a RF with the Sox rather than a CF he would have stayed healthier. Always felt that playing CF created more wear and tear on his body. That and having Mike Greenwell to crash into.
