Anthony had an opposite field double off the monster hit hard enough that Karson Simas was thrown out going first to third

We're totally going to go from "Don't rush Rafaela" to "Get Rafaela to the big leagues ASAP so he won't think he can hit homers all the time."

Kavadas has a 41.9% K rate over his last 45 games. 26 hits to 80 strikeouts. His K rate has climbed every month. I don't know that I would promote him. I confess I did not realize that he also leads the Eastern League in walks (63 in 67 games).

Hypothetically speaking, if Roman Anthony still has a 1250 OPS a month from now then you gotta just push the teenager up to Portland right

Hypothetically speaking, if Roman Anthony still has a 1250 OPS a month from now then you gotta just push the teenager up to Portland right Under the assumption that if he continues to hit this year he starts next year at Portland regardless, I would rather him just settle at a level for a bit and maybe get a taste to end the year. I don’t think the extra month up in AA would drastically affect his timeline.

Coming into tonight, Rafaela had swung at 44% of pitches outside the zone in AAA, he had nice decisions tonight, however.

When Blaze is promoted to Portland, how do you allocate playing time between Kavadas, Binellas, Yorke, and Miedroth? To say nothing of Tyler McDonough who was a 3rd round pick in 2021 and may have some future value as a super-sub. Is Yorke ready for AAA? If so, how do you allocate playing time to Valdez, Dalbec, Reyes, Koss and Ryan Fitzgerald? All of whom have some current or potential major league value? Is there any trade market for AAAA players, like Dalbec and Valdez, who seem to be clogging up the 40-man roster? Maybe we can get Dombrowski to take them to Philadelphia. Don't trade away our Minor league talent Something’s gotta give in order to give those deserving of opportunities. I’m not gonna be mad if Dalbec, Koss, Kavadas, Binellas or Fitzgerald are traded in some sort of package at the deadline.

This kid is ON FIRE. Was any reason given why he missed most of this week’s games?

Been watching minor league players climb the ladder for a while now. My brain says pump the brakes a little on Rafaela. My heart is screaming at me, “The kid just went three for five with two jacks! He replaces like three guys on the roster with his defense! Who cares if he just got to Worcester, promote him. Promote him!”
Also in this conversation, it’s a given that he won’t struggle at all in the show. 😀

I agree that those three are exciting, but if Jordan is there all summer then I don't know that it's a positive. Is there any trade market for AAAA players, like Dalbec and Valdez, who seem to be clogging up the 40-man roster? Maybe we can get Dombrowski to take them to Philadelphia. This take is a little ironic because on the newest podcast, they walk through the injury ravaged AAA depth chart, which is a total mess at the moment. They promoted one of the Hosmer trade prospects out of Greenville because of how badly Worcester needs bodies. As for AA, Binelas is up to 437 AA PA and is running a significantly higher K rate than Dalbec did on his way up.
