www.capfriendly.com/teams/bruinsIt's going to be a couple years until enough money comes off the books, and we get draft picks again to even START turning this ship around and adding around the core. I'd love for them to win as much as any fan, but they don't have the team for a deep run. Getting to the 2nd or third round was BEST case scenario this year. Save your tears. last I saw they have like $30 mill in cap space this summer iirc- perhaps that was including an Ullmark deal Agreed on the team- I thought winning a round would be a successful season for them given preseason expectations

Embarrassing showing by the Bs tonight. Couldn't win a face off, sloppy on offense - all of the pressure will be on them in Boston in game 7. Montgomery will be fired if they lose

Another terrible game from Pasta. Was at the game on Tuesday, he was involved in a collision where his leg got caught up under him. He labored around for a bit after that. Lots of pain on his face. Wouldn’t shock me if he tweaked something I thought every forward outside of Debrusk was pretty bad

Game 7 boys, as Kramer would say, "Giddy up!". Time to strap on the big boy pants and let it all hang out, I'm looking forward to a great game. Very disappointed in the team the past two games, however, there is plenty of reason for optimism for as badly as they played at the start of game 6, they outplayed Toronto the second half of the game, AND the past two games they have had plenty of bad luck with bouncing pucks, Fredericks game 5 goal aside. There has been a lot zig with zags too, players not quite in sync that has had little to nothing to do with Toronto's defense at least in regards to the plays I'm referring to. The defense overall has been fine limiting Toronto to 2 goals a piece for the past two games, do that again tonight and I expect to win. Hopefully, we get a chance to play Florida in the next round. They were 3-0 against them in the regular season and while I know it doesn't mean a heck of a lot once the playoffs start, but it's still better than going 0-3 against them and should give the team a little bit more confidence but now I'm putting the cart before the horse. Let's take care of business tonight first. Giddy Up!

As a glass half full guy I look at it one of two ways
1) we win and nuke that sorry franchise
2) we lose and have a really exciting offseason filled with a coaching change and a core shakeup, and if you asked me at the beginning of the season what the most likely result was I would’ve said eliminated in the first round so I am not all that distraught

Like that it's their goalie from the first 4 games who went 1-3 and he's giving up a lot of sloppy rebounds, eventually we will cash in if he keeps doing so, he's fighting the puck.

This Bruins team is terrible. Is this game 7? Someone should let the Bruins know.

Both teams want to lose. It's a question of who wants to disappoint their fans more.

I'm listening, not watching. Just looked at the stats after 2 periods - Bruins being slightly outshot - but winning less faceoffs (again) and had 8 giveaways vs only 1 for the Leafs.
Hard to believe this is game 7 at home. Going to be quite a third period.

35 saves 1 goal game 1 28 saves 2 goals game 3 24 saves 1 goal game 4 31 saves 2 goals game 5 24 saves 2 goals game 6 30 saves 1 goal game 7
Does Ullmark play again?

Another terrible game from Pasta. Hi! Well, that was the May 2 game. Today was May 4. He was terrible in that May 2 game. It's all in the details!

Well, that was the May 2 game. Today was May 4. He was terrible in that May 2 game. It's all in the details! I don't think he was terrible at all, they keyed in on him and he was battling but ultimatley held off the scoring sheet games 5 & 6. The coach called him not because Pastsa was terrible but I think to push him to his A game. Zacha no goals in what is now 19 playoff games deserves your ire but no-one mentions him. Lindholm played like ka ka and owed the team a goal. That pass he made behind himself where he slowed down to let a leaf cling to him instead of just passing behind the net where a Bruin was just off the screen blew my mind as in WTF is he thinking. He finally woke up in the third. Charlie McAvoy's game was all over the place alternating good plays with bad ones. The non call hook to Debrusk was terrible, and has been one of the more consistent players this series for Boston. The weak ass cross check on Coyle who extended his arms out an inch or two by a referee who was about 50 feet away was another blown call. At least in the third they called a hook against a leaf that was pretty weak as well. The Leafs are mulch again. At least they showed more heart here then they have in the past.

I can't see this series with Florida going less than 6 and it too will likely go 7. I think we have a solid chance to win this series I bet the odds are near 50/50. I'd love to make it to the Conference Finals but that is as far as I see this journey go.

Both these teams deserve to lose. Several people said stuff like this. I think it was the opposite. Both teams played their guts out. The priority was to not let up a goal, and you see how well they each did at that. Neither team choked. They both played well. Bruins just had one more play in them. Still amazed by that one. Guarantee you at 1-0. 99% of the people following the game thought it was over. For the B's to come back that hard and tie it, from a team that talk radio were calling losers and chokers, was simply astounding. And still geeking out at the final play. Lindholm, reading that, getting to the red line first just in case, and then making that bank pass was a thing of beauty. And Pasta, having the brains to take the long way around Marner so no one saw him coming, and then the athleticism and determination to out skate everyone, followed by a perfect shot, chef's kiss, my man.
