Almanzar has had a disappointing May so far, hitting 222 compared to 319 during April in the same amount of games. He has whiffed less and walk more though. Power numbers about the same ( 4 less doubles). Less balls falling in, the league adjusting to him? Anyone seen him and can comment? Regardless, it will be interesting to see what he does.

Wouldn't worry too much about Almanzar. His batted ball data for the month is nearly the same as it was in April, but he has cut his K% from 20% to 14%. His change in stats can be attributed to a drop in babip from .364 to .219.
Looks like young man Holt has picked it up a notch this month. Sox seemed to like him somewhat. Hit decently in the minors but little pop. Never hurts to have extra utility guys stashed away.
Bradley Jr. now over 350 and played left today. He has been mostly dhing since he returned . I guessed they are testing his arm to see if he may fit in Boston. They have to be concerned about Shane. He is becoming more injury prone as he gets older. Plays all out.
