Eric,
What a spectacular analysis. Even if I can’t understand how you did it.

Last year we thought Cora’s in game management was excellent and Bloom had us on a good long strategy. It’s hard to believe they both became dumb this year. year.

Your final prospect rankings with the addition of a number of players from the low minors is exciting! I hoped that Angel Maita(17yo with a good DSL season and projected to start in the GCl) and Cedanne Rafaela (18yo with power and speed and also projected to start in the GCL)were not in the top 30s. Did they exhibit poorly in the Fall Instructional League?

I regularly follow Sox Prospects, appreciate all the work involved, and apologize for my few contributions. I've been a dedicated Red Sox fan for 80 years(dating back to Catfish Metkovitch days) and thoroughly enjoyed both the good and the bad years. The message boards on prospects are my favorites. This year has been a joy and one I don't expect to see again. For you loyal fans posting on the game site your sufferings and frustrations,.try to enjoy the victories more than you suffer the defeats. It will sustain you in the future.

A way-below-the-radar prospect to breakout in 2018 may be Kerwin Suarez, slated to be the second baseman at Lowell. BA named him the best athlete in the system for 2017. BA'sbest athlete for each of the three previous years was Benintendi, Moncada, and Swihart.

The Rangers offered to play both series in Arlington with the Astros home team in one and receiving the revenue from it. It seems yer fair to me. Jerryu

Callas reported that 14 Red Sox players were on top 20 prospect lists( tied for the most of any team.). I count 17 locks- Iglesias, Lavernway, Webster, Brentz, Bradley, Shaw, Bogaerts, Workman, Barnes, De la Cruz,Cecchini, Swihart, Owens, Marrero, Light, Lin, and Montas. Who are three players not on the lists?,
