does any other team have close to 8 ? That list doesn't even seem to be much of a stretch. Not to mention Swihart had to fall just outside it. Astros also with 8 and Twins with 7.

Two weeks ago, Owens was throwing something more closely resembling a slider than his slower curveball, but after some investigation on my part I was told it's just a harder curve that he has trouble throwing and thus gets around sometimes, making it move like a slider. Still, not sure why he grades Owens on a slider he doesn't throw.
He also doesn't even give a grade to Kevin Gausman's filthy slider when that's probably his most effective pitch. Just a disservice to the guys who are out there grinding that this goes out under the MLB banner with so much misinformation and people take it at face value.

Still, not sure why he grades Owens on a slider he doesn't throw. I could not figure out what that pitch was. I was calling it a slider as well. Batters seemed to pick it up well, so I was hoping the pitch would morph into something else down the road.
