Isn't Chris Mellon responsible for the O's top ten at BP?

I believe he's responsible for all 25 and under. I also believe that's why Chris said the guy responsible is a hack.

Baltimore www.baseballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=22395RHP Kevin Gausman (Manny Machado) RHP Dylan Bundy RHP Hunter Harvey LHP Eduardo Rodriguez 2B Jonathan Schoop RHP Mike Wright LHP Tim Berry RHP Zachary Davies C Chance Sisco OF Josh Hart #pitching That said, putting Machado behind Gausman is nuts. Whoever did that is a hack. Would his injury play into that? Same with Bundy? Both are better talents than Gausman.

Does Anyone know when it is the Red Sox turn with BP?

Does Anyone know when it is the Red Sox turn with BP? They're going by record, so last I'd think. EDIT: I'm dumb. They're going by division and they're in the AL East now, so this one's any day now as well.

How many of those guys would make the Sox top 15/20? I mean, Gary Sanchez would slot into the Top 10, probably in the back half, but where would Jose Ramirez come in? J.R. Murphy?

I heard that J.R. Murphy is similar to Christian Vazquez.

My opinion only: Sanchez is legit. He'd slot in with the 3-7 range. Murphy, Ramirez, Heathcott, Austin and Williams would all slot in around 11-13. The last four would definitely be behind Workman and Vazquez for me, but probably ahead of Johnson and Stank.

Jason Parks ?@professorparks 9h Looks like the #Twins will place eight prospects on the BP 101; #Cubs, #Royals, #Pirates and #Rangers with seven; #RedSox with six.
When do the BA and BP lists usually come out? (top 100?)

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, all of the services have an opinion that is likely defensible. It does appear that BP is significantly less impressed with the Sox than most.
I'm taking a guess that based on Parks review of Owens that he's one of the prospects that didn't make their cut.

I'll preface this with I obviously like Mellon. Nice guy. Funny. Good insights. Great overall game. Plus, he looks good in jeans. A solid 6+.
What makes baseball prospectus baseball prospectus these days? It feels like some amature scouting site with some Baseball America light contacts. Good content. Ok fantasy appeal. Not very prospectusy anymore.

I'm taking a guess that based on Parks review of Owens that he's one of the prospects that didn't make their cut. (Caveat: I don't know anything you guys don't) I'd be stunned if it's Owens. Even though he may be relatively down on him as compared to others, I'd be surprised if he didn't have him at least in the lower half of the top 101. Honestly, for me, Bogaerts, JBJ, Swihart, Owens, Cecchini are the only top 100 locks. If you're down on all of the pitchers (quite possible) and don't necessarily buy into Betts' breakout year, having only one more guy seems defensible.
