The 'Minor Notes' from 4/30 claim that Bello has an arm injury. (I think the writer was unaware the lat muscle is the side of the back).

Ryan Zeferjahn's page comes up blank for me, just a white screen with a reasonable looking link in the URL. On work computer so sometimes things come up odd but everyone else I checked is fine.

Also, on the Cup of Coffee for today, there's an error in the Salem writeup: "Ovis Portes allowed just one run on his watch, but there was plenty of traffic, as he allowed two runs and walked three over 3 1/3 innings of work." I just checked the box score, and he allowed two *hits* and walked three, not two runs. I use an app called Momento to keep track of all the games I have gone to because I'm OCD like that. I was entering older minor league games I'd attended and I bet I messed up High versus Low A on Salem and Greenville on half of the games prior to 2020...

From today's Cup of Coffee:
Extraneous "to" in opening sentence. Style *usually* dictates that "RBI" be preceded by "an" if an indefinite article is to be used. And in the final sentence, "did" should be "two" according to the box score.

The profile for 2024 draft pick Conrad Cason says he is "One of the youngest prospects in the 2024 draft, turning 17 just three months prior." Prior to what? Not to the draft. Born on 08/07/2006, e turned 17 on 08/07/2023.

That should probably be the entry for the IP column, but I couldn't tell you what should get flip-flopped to make it all right. |
