Can Peavy have a start where he's not giving up a home run? Only if Lackey can have a start where he doesn't give up a SB.

Hows about getting rid of Ross and bringing up Swihart? give the kid experience. We already have a enough guys batting 200 in the lineup. time to go with youth and give young kids a shot

Weird. You'd think a guy like Norris would be a perfect pitcher to get Drew going. Not today?

Nava with a double. It's almost as if he can hit righty pitching although obviously that's nonsense because he doesn't have a beard or and army helmet or some shit.

Can Peavy have a start where he's not giving up a home run? I mean you should be happy if he gives up ONLY one homer.

What's the rational for Farrell having Ross facing a RHP in a nonLester start? Night game after a night game?

There is nothing Peavy gives this team that Workman can't.

It saddens me that Pedroia may be just a league-average hitter these days.

Nava working the count and running up the pitchers # of pitches per start is something this team has really missed. Hopefully he gets some PT for a while.

Nava and Holt cannot continue to carry this team alone. They have to get them help!

They're nearing the point, if not already there, where if they feel any of the AAA guys are ready for consistent work in the bigs, they might as well have 3-4 months of MLB results going into 2015.
Will Webster be better than Peavy? No clue. But I'd much rather them find out over the next 3 months with consistent pitching in the bigs from Webster than go into 2015 with the same questions we have now, with Webster and the rest of the pitching prospects, namely Webster/Rubby/Workman, then Barnes when deemed ready

This offense is pretty discouraging. The frustrating part is that there is no real way to fix it this season.
