Just hoping to not get no-hit at this point. So wait, sweeping a series while scoring five total runs wasn't the moment the Red Sox turned their season around?

Jackie Bradley will not be a regular for the Red Sox post-2014. There I said it.

Here's a thought.
I'm told there are much more important qualities for a manager than making good in-game decisions. Something about leadership, getting players to play their best, etc.
Would those qualities include getting hitters not to change their approach when they've had a bit of hard luck with RISP and things like that?
What kind of evidence would we need to conclude that John Farrell is not only bad at in-game decision making, but also bad at the other stuff?

Totally unrelated, but is your username referring to Mario Götze of the German soccer team?

Let Ruby stay in the rotation for God's sake. If he gets sent down he should file a union grievance. (Kidding... sort of.)

Brock Holt is the best player on the Red Sox right now, which is awesome and terrible all at the same time.

Isn't leadership much easier when everything is going right than when things are going wrong?

What's German for unsubstantiated opinions lol? You want to put RDLR on the same level as Lester/Lackey already and you dislike a left handed reliever with a 2.7 ERA, 1.0 WHIP, and 48 Ks. Please tell me the logic there lol?

Please tell me the logic there lol? I'm not sure what exactly you're referring to re: Lester/Lackey/RDLR, maybe find the post you want to respond to and ... well if you want to accuse me of being unsubstantial perhaps you should put in some effort yourself. As for left handed relievers, I have no idea whom you are talking about. I don't have a problem with Breslow or Capuano, though I did find the stats ericmvan posted on Breslow very worrying, and I think Andrew Miller is great. I never look at ERA, but even I know that Doubront's is higher than 2.7, so you can't mean him.
