Lol at this point, looking back at the moves Ben made is pretty useless (Miley, Porcello, Kelly trades and Masterson signing) as they are done and over with.
When you look at how to fix the starters, its pretty difficult when literally any of them could blow up any given night. Trading for one "ace" or whatever won't really fix much in my opinion cause there's still 4 other guys to worry about. The only thing to do really is hope they put it together.

My God, how can a starting staff be this awful? You'd think by share luck at least one of the five would be decent, but none of them are. This is unfathomable.

Why is Buchholz coming out after 62 pitches? Are you kidding me?

I'm just check the gameday from work. I can't believe by Clay giving back to them after being up by 4 runs. Where's his mental for that situation?? Just terrible.

I bet Farrell wouldn't be killing the bullpen right now if they had someone who can play left field.

What the hell did he do to deserve to stay in? He struck out a batter and induced a bunch of soft hits (that happened to fall in for hits, but Buchholz has no control over that).

Tomorrow's news: Napoli to DL, Layne recalled. Thanks, Farrell.

This rotation, man...
I'm trying to buy into these peripheral stats that say they don't actually suck. FIP, SIERA and whatever else. But performances like this make it difficult.

You're not alone, many baseball fans have trouble accepting that baseball is actually very random. But the research is really overwhelming.

Oh yeah, I forgot we just have the unluckiest pitching staff in the history of the world.

Why can't we just get one good start? Like come on this is getting ridiculous. I know they're soft hits but it could not be more infuriating and troublesome that every game the offense has to score 8 runs to have a chance.

Yeah, that was a pretty dumb early hook from Farrell, especially with Wright just sent down. No one was making hard contact off Buchholz, and he even seemed more composed than he was in that other bad start. Just bad managing.

Agree - unless Buchholz told Nieves he was trying to pitch through a cramp or the onset of the same ailment Napoli has that was a moronic hook. Basically a 1-0 game in the thrird. Just awful in-game mgmt.

Down 2012 & Up 2013 & Down 2014 & now what for 2015 season. I hate Ben's crazy ideas for restructure the team roster yearly. The starting 5 Pitchers were terrible. They're bottom of all MLB as team pitching staff as each starter is prone to have melt down in one inning. I've seen that so far this month. I hope Ben get fired soon if the team is fall apart due to starter pitching problems and overtax the relievers. I had enough of him as GM.
