Gotta make up your mind quicker than that, unfortunately.

Rick Porcello's xFIP must be looking good. Why, because of all the fly balls? Does your message have any purpose besides proclaiming your own ignorance? You know, I can call people names too...

Finally Sandoval manages to lay down a tag. Hopefully the start of a series.

Welp, this game is practically over, Breslow warming up in the pen.

STOP BUNTING!

|
|
Post by mattpicard on Jun 26, 2015 21:02:21 GMT -5
Well, that was about as depressing as it gets following Nap's single. Farrell annoyingly but predictably calls for the bunt, De Aza fails miserably at it, and JBJ takes a ball for a called third strike which is probably going to influence Farrell to sit him tomorrow.
... to continue, Breslow is pitching the bottom of the 9th in a tie game, and Panda continues to miss snagging balls that he can get to, even though he's supposed to have lightning quick reactions.

Is there any reason whatsoever Breslow is still on this team?

Breslow pitching in a tie game....I see....a plethora of hate coming.

Craig Breslow is pitching the bottom of the ninth in a tie game...? I would probably rather have half of the Pawtucket bullpen in there right now. Indefensible.

No, please, keep bunting!

Is there any reason whatsoever Breslow is still on this team? I thought his sole purpose was to let inherited runners score. So why have him start the inning with empty bases? Ahh....I see... he filled very quickly.

"When Koji warms up, he enters the game, period." Well unless it's an extremely high leverage situation, that is. But he's definitely gotta trot out there when the Sox increased their lead to 6 runs in the previous half inning.

Just tuned in now, but Breslow and Ogando for the 9th in a tied game is terrible managing. Nothing that I wouldn't expect from Farrell though.

Would Kevin Cash torture us with all these commercial breaks if Brock Holt had just scored on the Sandoval single?

Um... good job Brock? Kinda. He has been our MVP this year, considering his versatility, but his baserunning mistake is inexcusable.

Seriously, are home plate umpires being paid by the strike this year?

Farrell proves his managerial supremacy with unquestionable bullpen strategy.
