Travis played last night and scored a run in an extra base hit by Jeimer Candelario. I also don't have the box score, so I don't know how he got on base.

So now that we know what Travis did in two plate appearances in a fall league game, we can wait for the long, long winter to end.

I stumbled over the last 2/3 of Travis' walk last night. The announcer (Callis?) said he looked "hittery " and that he was working the count. He scored from first on a long 2b over the cf's head, apparently running ok.

Asuaje still playing for Scottsdale tonight. Presumably with his Red Sox jersey still on For the finals game, he's starting at second base. He's wearing a Padres uni. He grounded out to first in his 1st AB> Sam Travis flew out to right. He let the pitcher get ahead in the count by swinging at a very high pitch earlier in the count. Next AB with runners at first and second, Travis had a good AB. He almost doubled down the LF line then hit a grounder to the hole that the 3rd baseman made a nice play on for a force out. He later came in to score a run. . . . Final, Scotsdale won 6-4 but I slept through the finish.
