JBJ batting 8th? Wow, they must REALLY hate Marrero.
Also, Holt RF Castillo LF seems insane to me, at least under the premise that you're trying to win. Should be switched.

Gotta' feel sorry for Owens. He get to start in a bandbox with some serious hitters and without the benefit of his two best hitters, not to mention 2 above average defenders.

For anyone who wants a detailed analysis of Owens from a HOF pitcher, Jim Palmer is doing just that on the Orioles broadcast.

You tease, you please.
Add: intellectually speaking, of course.

JBJ has been back to absolutely horrendous ever since facing R.A. Dickey.

At Camden Yards watching the game. Owens is looking rough... Only hitting 87-88 mph on the radar gun for his fastball.

We should trade Pedroia while his value is high. Maybe now? Can we please stop with the trading of Pedroia. If you are trying to get better you don't trade away your best players. We have enough young players. He's the type of player that we should be adding not trading. Plus who plays 2B??? Outfield is set. Holt is ultimately a utility player. I don't want his defence at 2B or his power in the starting lineup. If the FO wants to rebuild then trade PEDROIA but if we want to compete next year he's the type of play you could around.

I was kidding man and i think benogliviesbrother was kidding too. I guess I'll have to use italics more since the sarcasm detectotor of the posters here is gone MIA. ADD: Great offensive night for Arizona State baseball.

Not looking for a detailed scouting report, but I am curious in what way Owens is looking rough. Is it just the velo, or is it something else like deep counts, hard contact, etc? As above, the game cast is showing the velo in the 87-91 range, and the results do kinda speak for themselves.
