Time to voice your vote on the 2015 Community Red Sox prospect rankings. You know the drill - rank your top 40 Red Sox prospects. Criteria for rankings should be your opinion of each prospect's "expected value" at the big league level, not solely based on ceiling, and not necessarily for the Red Sox. We're not going to set any strict guidelines as to how you should rank prospects, except that we do ask that you follow one rule - please only vote for eligible prospects and do not exclude players from eligibility based on your own criteria. Please check back once or twice to see if someone points out a mistake in your rankings, such as a double-ranking or if you may have missed a player.
Every player listed on the Team Rosters page is eligible EXCEPT the following players (and please note the graduations of Henry Owens, Travis Shaw, and Heath Hembree, which are not yet reflected in the current SoxProspects rankings):
Matt Barnes, Mookie Betts, Jeff Bianchi, Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley, Craig Breslow, Clay Buchholz, Rusney Castillo, Allen Craig, Ryan Cook, Ryan Hanigan, Heath Hembree, Rich Hill, Brock Holt, Joe Kelly, Tommy Layne, Sandy Leon, Jean Machi, Chris Marrero, Roman Mendez, Wade Miley, Alexi Ogando, David Ortiz, Henry Owens, Dustin Pedroia, Carlos Peguero, Rick Porcello, Humberto Quintero, Hanley Ramirez, Eduardo Rodriguez, Robbie Ross, Josh Rutledge, Pablo Sandoval, Dave Sappelt, Travis Shaw, Blake Swihart, Junichi Tazawa, Koji Uehara, Anthony Varvaro, Christian Vazquez, Jemile Weeks, Brandon Workman, and Steven Wright.
Voting will go through Sunday, October 18. You can edit your rankings until then.

6. Guerra 7. Johnson 8. Kopech
9. Chavis 10. Travis 11. Light 12. Marrero
13. Ball 14. Longhi 15. Allen 16. Stankiewicz 17. Jerez 18. Buttrey
Having a tough time splitting the guys after Marrero with any meaning, so I'll stop here. I don't think I'd rank him #19, but my player to watch is Christopher Acosta.

I'd actually encourage people to rank beyond 40 in case of double-ranking, which has happened in the past. Oh, and PLEASE USE FIRST NAMES IF POSSIBLE, OR AT LEAST WITH THE BASABES AND ACOSTAS!!

Fixed so that it is in a format that more closely resembles everyone else's lists. Additionally, It looks like there may have been a few guys that was sleeping on (Longhi most notably- so I have moved him up and have shifted players around).
The Top Tier (65-75 FV Ceiling) 1. Yoan Moncada 2. Anderson Espinoza
(55-65 FV Ceiling) 3. Rafael Devers 4. Manuel Margot 5. Andrew Benintendi 6. Michael Kopech
(Pretty sure is a 55 FV) 7. Brian Johnson
(50-60 FV) 8. Javi Guerra 9. Michael Chavis
(50 FV) 10. Sam Travis 11. Devon Marrero 12. Wendell Rijo
The Rest of the players are to varied to try to assign a generic FV score. Some like Dayan Diaz and Jon Aro look like decent future relivers. Others have considerable ceilings (acsta, Allen, Basabe) but carry a ton of risk
13. Pat Light 14. Nick Longhi 15. Logan Allen 16. Christopher Acosta 17. Mauricio Dubon
18. Luis Alexander Basabe 19. Dayan Diaz 20. Jonathan Aro
21. Edwin Escobar 22. Williams Jerez 23. Teddy Stank 24. Ty Buttery 25. Trey Ball 26. Josh Okimkey 27. Jalen Beeks 28. Luis Alejandro Basabe 29. Jake Cosart 30. Victor Acosta 31. Roniel Raudes 32. Marc Brakmen 33. Austin Glorius 34. Yoan Aybar 35. Marco Hernandez 36. Carlos Asuaje 37. Noe Ramirez 38. Austin Rei 39. Chad de La Guerra 40. Tate Matheny
