I mean if your picking from Coyle, Cecchini and Brentz man that is hard. They are all about the same. They have all had there moments. Would have to say Brentz is gone if we sign an OF. Based on the fact that Brentz can't stay healthy. Coyle. Not close. Huge flaws in his offensive game AND can't stay healthy. Well Brentz and Coyle both can't stay healthy and Both have flaws in offensive game. Coyle had a very good 2014 in Portland and a very bad 2015. I say Brentz because he has now spent 3 full seasons at triple A and he is going into his age 27 season.

I still think Brentz can end up being like Steve Pierce.

Rob Bradford @bradfo 13m13 minutes ago Team that recently asked about Bradley Jr. was told by Red Sox they are hanging on to him That is excellent news. Does he have some flaws? Yes. Does he have any plus skills? Yes once again. I believe he will hit enough and get on base enough to be a very plus player for us this year and going forward. Now that may be .245/.320/.380, but with that glove....I'll take it. If you were a pitcher for the Sox, you can imagine how better you feel when a ball is hit to the outfield with him and his friends are out there. With our new additions and our improved defense, our games will be shortened to a 6 or 7 inning game. I can see us winning quite a few 3-2, 4-3, and 5-4 games this year. Jackie is a big part of that.

Improved defense and a massive improvement in the pen makes this team different than most of the Sox teams we have seen, even though the offense still has potential to be extremely potent

Theres no question we now have the best defensive outfield in the game. That itself should a couple wins on its own

Let him go out and win a gold glove, prove he can hit for a full season and then trade him for even more value when Benintendi is ready.

Or keep him and play Benintendi, Bradley, and Betts - the killer B's - as your OF trio. Hopefully Castillo plays well enough to trade for something useful

Yeah I think the Sox are going to have a pretty good OF for a while, the killer B's, plus a Bogaert.

You'll jinx them all.

OK seriously? Which is the before and after? I can't see much difference. But don't you think the Sox have a handle on and guide to how our players/prospects train and workout? I would sure hope so to achieve the best and proven scientific/training results for the player and the team. I love the fact that an athlete is motivated enough to make himself better (should he not?) within the parameters of Sox/scientific profiles. Bradley's out-of-this world defense is enough to make me want to watch and to hope that we don't trade him. A great catch or throw is worth as much to me as a HR.

Not only in the OF but all over the diamond. Mind you 1B scares the hell out of me.

Thanks. I was having trouble with that since I otherwise could not see much difference except the angle of the photos. It reminds me of the back of magazine pictures asking to pick out 10 differences in offsetting photos. I never get all of them.

Let him go out and win a gold glove, prove he can hit for a full season and then trade him for even more value when Benintendi is ready. I think Bradley's defense is amazing. Sometimes I think he is moving before the batter swings. I think he will be a very streaky hitter next season and will take several years to get real consistentcy. I think Castillo is a walking banana (eternally injured). Benintendi is our future left fielder. Maybe in 2017.

That's one thing I'm interested in seeing this year. If under this new regime, they'll be more aggressive promoting players through the system than they were under Cherington; or if everything stays the same, something to keep an eye on.

The picture has a caption "Transformation Tuesday." What did you expect other than a haircut?
