It's way too early to get either optimistic or pessimistic about Hanley at first, but this was at least a little encouraging to me: I saw another report that he fired a ball into the dugout after another error ... it'll have some rough patches, but I feel like as long as he gets pissed off and annoyed at his miscues, maybe he'll be ok by Opening Day. We'll see. He's got the hands for it. Friday during infield practice I watched Hanley consistently move to his right for a grounder and stop just in time to be able to backhand the balls. I can understand that way of playing a ball IF play is to 2nd but not is he's running or tossing to 1st. Is this the 'modern' way to play ball to the meat hand side?

I think I'm going to be sick. Should have been Betts, Bogaerts, and Swihart.

Espinoza's agent tweeted this. Looks like Anderson put on some good weight (disregard the hair, kids make mistakes) and Ortiz lost some bad weight.

Re the media guide: that's a perfect front cover: the two longtime icons, and the two new acquisitions. I'd put Betts, Bogaerts, and Rodriguez on the back cover, flanked by both Swihart and Vazquez.

I think I'm going to be sick. Should have been Betts, Bogaerts, and Swihart. No worries. It'll be Mookie, Xander, Espinoza, Swihart and Moncada in two years.

That's the kind of injury that happens more commonly with soccer players. It's also the kind of injury that if it happens once, its more likely to happen again down the road. He should be fine, but it's not a totally insignificant condition just because the ligaments are fine.

LET'S GO! (From Rob Bradford on Twitter) Benintendi is 20 percent forearm. Can we just call him Popeye? Anyone have guesses as to the starters over the weekend? I know HO is Wed and Porcello is Thurs. Does Price get the ball Friday? Trying to figure out which games in the next week will be the best to go to. I assume they won't send many reguars to Tampa.

I think I'm going to be sick. Should have been Betts, Bogaerts, and Swihart. I don't get this. The Red Sox added the AL CY young runner-up and the most successful closer over the past five years. Why would they NOT be on the media guide?
