Travis Shaw starting at 3B today. Hitting .526/.571/.895 in seven games. “I’m trying to make it hard for them not to start me."

Haven't been watching to closely, but has JBJ lost a step out there in center?

Haven't been watching to closely, but has JBJ lost a step out there in center? Severely doubt it. Maybe in a couple of years. Is there a reason you ask or are you just curious?

Haven't been watching to closely, but has JBJ lost a step out there in center? He has never been that fast. Maybe average. His fielding ability is based on knowing exactly where the ball is going to land before the ball even hits the bat. It seems that way anyway.

Talk about contrasting half innings...

Remember thinking something similar a few times over his last few starts. When it left the bat I was thinking that. I think though it's more of a case that Porcello is giving up hard liners not general fly balls.

Damn, I really like Elias. He's a lot better than I thought he'd be. Definitely not just a throw in. DD did good

Michael Silverman (@mikesilvermanbb) tweeted "Appeared as if Swihart failed a concussion protocol administered by trainer, w Farrell standing close by. Swihart stayed on feet, walked off"

Missed it, what happened ? Foul tip off the mask. No report yet. Thank you sir. Don't trade any of the three MLB catchers. If Sandy Leon gets any real time, it's another lost year.

Interesting (to me). When I saw Elias the other day, I thought his curve looked loopy. Today not so much but he threw too many curves. He must be concentrating on it.
I also said the other day, Craig looks a lot better. Still does.
Shaw continues, 2-4 with a double.
Swihart, no concussion, contusion only.

Mookie is playing way too deep in RF, at least sometimes ~ 1 meter in front of warning track. The defense overall is just atrocious

I was at the game today. Moncada looked better than I expected. And what impressed me even more was before the gave he came over and spent a fair amount of time signing autographs for kids. Porcello gave up lots of hard contact. JBJ showed off his arm a couple times, almost gunning down a couple runners. I'm not a professional scout, so that's about all I got haha Not sure why the pics didn't post, but here are the links: imgur.com/PfZd2Gp imgur.com/MNQKds0
