Second bad baserunning decision of the day from Bogaerts.

Not bogey's fault there. That's the right move trying to get to 3rd with 1 out. It took a perfect throw to get him out, hats off to the royals d so far

Second bad baserunning decision of the day from Bogaerts. You can't blame Bogaerts for that, that was a really really incredible throw. He's safe at 3rd 99 times out of 100.

To be fair, that required a perfect throw to get him, and KC's bullpen is good enough that I'm starting to think that it was a risk worth taking to set up the sac fly.

Just a hell of a throw by Dyson IMO.
Diving into first was a dumb idea, but I didn't mind trying to take third there.

Still worry about John Farrell giving day off to some regular starters for 2nd game tonight. Not too good if they're only 3 outs from losing 1st game and likely to get sweep by KC. We need to win today.

Also I'm going to be pissed off if Rutledge gets to bat again in this game. Even against Wade Davis you gotta try to win.

I have to see the replay again and pay more attention, but I didn't think the hit was far enough to RF

Wright did his job. 3 ER in 8 IP on the day of a doubleheader.

Well, he always have 1st inning problems that lead to lost several games. Live and die by 1st inning situation.

Not sure I'm buying that pinch hitting with a guy with 4 career plate appearances and making him face Wade Davis is a great idea.

I'm confident that this was a game we probably win if Hanley starts instead of Rutledge.

I guess they were due for one of those games where they outplay the opposition and still lose. Price better come up big tonight to avoid the sweep. I'm told that's what an ACE does.
