Pawsox site has O'Sullivan as the starter tonight? I live in Rochester and attend as many Sox games here as I can. Hoping to get to at least one in this series but this AAA team is not that interesting right now actually. Do they still play in Silver Stadium? There was a small bar in the parking lot where players would often hang out after the games (which also meant no shortage of pretty girls).

It's a really great park - Hadlock is the only minor league park that I might like as much that I've been to (granted that's only about seven or eight). It has a similar feel to Camden Yards - intentionally so, as the Red Wings were an Orioles affiliate for a very long time. The parking lot (and bar, I suppose) of the old Silver Stadium is where the new park stands.

Mike Antonellis @seadogsradio 3h3 hours ago Moncada was in the original lineup, but a late scratch, we don’t know the reason.

So who's player of the day? Impressive trio of performances from Kopech, Raudes and Stankiewicz. I'd go Stank.

Never got to go to Silver Stadium. Didn't move to the area until after college. Frontier Field is a great place to watch a game though if you get the chance. I'm gonna go tomorrow night to see Owens and have a shredded buffalo chicken sandwich and some Rohrbach's scotch ale. If I can tear my eyes away from the sandwich I'll let you all know if I see anything interesting.

From poster Tomsoxfan at Uponthemonster.com
Saw the Sea Dogs tonight with my wife. Got our Blake Swihart bobblehead. Also got an autograph from Jae Crowder of the Celtics who attended for a promotion. Of course, Benintendi was called up and Moncada was given the night off it seems (did see him tossing with Dubon in warmups but he didn't play).
Stankiewicz had a no-hitter through 5 innings and pitched a complete game shutout. He's struggled this year so it was a nice game for him. His fastball seemed to top out at 88 though. I saw ONE pitch hit 93. The radar gun was funky at times tonight for both pitchers.
Mauricio Dubon. My goodness but he looks like the real thing. Last time I saw him he tripled to center and next time up put the center fielder up against the fence on a running catch. This time he cracked an RBI double that one hopped over the fence in left center just to the right of the Green Monster. Next time up he launched another bullet into left-center that one-hopped the wall for yet another double. You see him and you think he's 16. He really generates batspeed though. Hitting .318 now with an OPS over .800. Reminds me of Mookie. Seems a shame...he plays shortstop. If he continues to develop like this...his future is as a trade chip for the Sox.

Tough loss for Rowdy Ronny. Tip of the cap to Asheville starter, Trey Killian, who's now 9-4.
