Okay, my score update app almost gave me a heart attack. Initially it said Upton Jr GS, Tor 6 Bos 5. Then it corrected itself and said Bogaerts HR, Bos 6 Tor 2.
Phew...

En fuego Hanley is the best Hanley.

I was thinking good job by Mookie swiping 2nd base, avoiding the double play. Then came Hanley...
Edit: A sweep this series would be really nice, being four games up

Hanley has so. much. power. That looked effortless, and opposite field too!

Hanley has so. much. power. That looked effortless, and opposite field too! I watched Hanley a bit when he was with the Dodgers. As I wrote quite a while back, you don't want this guy to extend his arms. He can crush outside pitches. Add: The Jays have a good lineup, but the Sox have more threats up and down the lineup, so difficult to pitch around.

It's meaningless, but I'm rooting for Mookie to steal some more bags to get to 30 steals for the year.

Huh ... listening to the Jays announcers, they just pointed out Pedroia has a 26 game hit streak against the Jays, last time he played the Blue Jays and didn't get a hit was Sept 4, 2014.
And he keeps the boot on the Jays necks. Wear out that bullpen.

1 more run to meet the Beckett standard of 12 runs and air tight defense, he'll handle the rest. Porcello should get a rest too.

Rick Porcello games are the best games to watch ... he works fast, doesn't walk many, strikes out some people but gets lots of groundballs, too.

Porcello. 114 pitches in a 11-2 game. what is that all about?

C'mon Farrell - given Sandy the rest of the night off so he can start tomorrow.I don't want to see Holaday in a non-blowout Red Sox game ever again.

Ziegler? Only Farrell could F up this situation. Yeah, I completely understood bringing him in on Sunday. But now? Horrible.

I know the game day thread is for venting, but bitching about Rick Porcello's first notawesome start in months is a bad look. And it was still awesome.

So we've got, what, 15 guys in the pen. But we need Koji AND Ziegler in a blowout why? With a day game tomorrow, too? Really John? Really?
