Its sad that when I saw people complaining about his taunting the crowd last night, I almost said I wouldn't be surprised if it was in response to some racist a**hole. I decided not to say anything because at the time it felt like a baseless assumption, but alas... I was guilty of it, but I don't know why you would be sad. This is an emotional time between these teams. Excuse me if the engine starts running a little hot. I am trying not to take this post to personally, and I would congratulate you on your awareness of the possible issues. For me, it was a continuation of the Orioles behaving badly, but I wasn't fully informed. I am not gonna just give these guys a pass though, there have been clear lines drawn here, and I am not going to allow them to claim victimhood on all counts.

I heard Showalter planted those fans. It was a false flag or something.

I just meant it was sad that my brain kind of assumed his actions were probably in response to racists in the crowd, and more sad that my assumption turned out to be right.

Sabathia came out and said today that Fenway is the only place he's been called the "N" word.
I have been to many games at Fenway (as I'm sure many of us have) and I have not heard anyone use profanity of that nature. I have sat in the bleachers, grandstands, upper deck, etc. That said I'm not denying it happened and it's very upsetting. The Red Sox have Mookie, JBJ, Chris Yound and David Price; making them tied with 2 other teams as having the most African American players. We all want them to keep Mookie and JBJ long term, but continued allegations of the sort could prevent them from staying and I couldn't blame them.
Be better Boston. It is upsetting and disgusting.

Unfortunately, I believe a similar incident happened to him and Kim in Toronto last year. What is up with these idiots. They're not fans. Why even attend the game. They are not fans of the game, the home team or the players.

I think we might have found the new leader of the Red Sox...Chris Sale. Sending a message to both the Red Sox and Orioles.

Chris Sale has a great pitching philosophy. Throw the ball really hard with lots of movement on the corners from a weird arm angel while mixing speeds. Not sure why more pitchers don't do this.

Come on, Sale is on fire and Asher will get run if he comes inside. Don't waste this opportunity offense.

Why is there a positive number next to the Red Sox team? What did we do?

What's more impressive 7 strikeouts in 3 innings or 7 strikeouts in 36 pitches?

If Kelly had half a clue he'd be taking copious notes here. Attack. Attack. Attack, and don't let em breathe.

The only way the Red Sox win the World Series this year is if Chris Sale goes on a Bumgarner-esque run in the postseason. Of course, getting to the postseason with this group is a different matter.

God, Chris Sale is fun to watch. Yeah, regardless of one's feelings on the trade's long-term outlook, he's worth double the price of admission. He's remarkably reminiscent of Pedro in terms of fun-factor.
