Pedey's OBP is at .388. He should be the leadoff hitter.

Nobody squanders like our guys. We gotta hope that the cooler weather will mitigate home run totals in the playoffs. If we gotta rely on these guys for the 3 run bomb, it will likely be too difficult.

There aren't better choices than Heater? I hope he turns back the clock. There was a time this year he was reliable. Personally, I like the guy, he reminds me a bit of Kenny Powers.

This is ridiculous. Heater hasn't given up soft contact for weeks. JF also should be mixing and matching out his ass at this point. What the heck is the point of having all these guys up? if it takes 10 trips to the mound, so be it.

Hembree and Barnes should not be on the post season roster.

Hembree and Barnes should not be on the post season roster. I would take Hembree, if there was a choice.

Hanley has been the biggest deterrent to offensive productivity for this team this year. And it isn't even close.

Hembree and Barnes should not be on the post season roster. I would take Hembree, if there was a choice. He's like the Porcello of the bullpen. Everything that gets hit is smashed.

You're just a fountain of positivity tonight, huh? It's a four-run game, man. Step off the ledge.

Red Sox will play on Friday night at least. Just heard on WEEI. St. Petersburg must gave enough power throughout the city to be able to play on Friday.

Now, I never want the Red Sox to be losing, but one of my favorite games to play is "Guess the score of the game based on the comments in the gamethread" It is hilarious to play whenever the team is losing.

3 innings to do some damage. I feel like it is going to happen.

You're just a fountain of positivity tonight, huh? It's a four-run game, man. Step off the ledge. I ride the highs and lows. When things are great I'll comment positively. If they aren't, I won't. I'm not a troll that shows up only when they're losing. There's a reason why I called Hembree a gas can though. Hembree has come in with 40 inherited runners on the year and allowed 19 of which to score. That's almost half the runners he allows to score and that is the worst among relievers in MLB.

Hurts just seeing all these innings without the big hit. They are trying, just not working out.

It always warms my heart seeing Boyer. He's so much more useful than Brentz. There's no way that any of the other 18 pitchers in the bullpen could provide the same 1 inning mopup relief appearances. How could we win without him?

This team loves to lose to teams they have no business losing too.

Yeah I don't get that one either, especially when Moreland and Hanley are combining to such awesome performance.
