It's pretty bad that the Sox don't have one batter on this bench to pinch hit for Sandy Leon. Like Vazquez?

Sale served up some serious meatballs tonight.
Can the zombies pull this out for him?

Listening during a snowy afternoon in Montana. A disappointing listen so far...Sales, Xander (why leading off?), and Farrell for stubbornly playing Holt. Last year slumping into the playoffs was rough...a repeat performance would be devastating.

Two games up with 15 to play and NYY is hot. They're aren't going to hold first, are they?

At least Maddox still looks great. Put him on the playoff roster.

How often do you see a 10 pitch strikeout with only 2 balls in the count, the 2nd and 3rd pitches ?

What a great appearance by Maddox considering he was squeezed with each batter.

Maddox has been really good. Him and Workman have impressed me. If only the offense wasn't atrocious.

This is the inning where the Sox have to do damage. Heart of the order up, 8th inning. Got to tie. No way around that.

Don't give Maddox one close call you prick. And he gives Tommy Hunter at least one borderline call.

There you go Farrell. Couldn't go without the Barnes appearance, huh?

Wilson Ramos has been killing the Sox all season long. Go get 'em punchless offense.

Porcello better give the Sox the game of his season tomorrow after the mediocre season he has had in 2017. That's all I'm saying for the rest of the night, unless this offense shows anything in the top of the ninth (unlikely).

After watching this team playing nearly 150 games, there won't be any surprises. This is a flawed team that is moving in an opposite direction to Cle and NY. Punchless, slumping key players, and Farrell.
