That's a kick to the nuts. You posted that same thing 7 minutes ago - how many more kicks this game, I wonder?

I didn't think we'd be sitting with Porcello through 3 innings, the way he started....at only 70 pitches. So - time to hit Morton - hard. They just hit him hard and got nothing from it, not good!!

Benintendi's baserunning needs to improve big time. Even his slide back - he had one hand extended toward the base but used the second "short hand" to tag. Awful.

Morton has allowed a .533 OPB and .786 SA enroute to his 3.00 ERA. That's including 2 outs that weren't.

If Sale can sale for, let's say, four innings here, we should be able to take the lead with a damn break or two.

I know it isn't optimal, but with 2 outs and the ground so wet, I don't know. Moreland is slow and Morton is getting hammered. Yeah, bad send.

WHY WOULD YOU SEND MORELAND THERE?! This team's baserunning has been an abomination all year. Yeah, he was only thrown out by 15 feet. ONLY way he scores ther "IF" Gonzalez makes a HORRIBLE throw.

Maybe we just have Joe Kelly or Carson Smith start the 1st inning from now on and have our starters come in in relief?

Doesn't it? OTOH, maybe we've had a lot of luck and just don't realize it. We have a .600 BABIP today. What a crazy sport.

WHY WOULD YOU SEND MORELAND THERE?! This team's baserunning has been an abomination all year. Because this team has inexplicably clung to a moronic, ill-informed, bad outcome weighted base running philosophy.

Haha maybe this is the start of lesser defined roles, where teams start switching up order of RP's and SP's to gain an advantage and put different types of strains on arms and also start playing with splits and fun stuff like that. Pitcher switching is the new market inefficiency. Start Kimbrel in Game 5.

The umpire is now setting our batters up by calling obvious balls, balls. He will then call one a strike at most inopportune moment.

Pitcher switching is the new market inefficiency. Start Kimbrel in Game 5. This is the start of desperation. Or as Agent Smith said, "Do you hear that, Mr. Anderson? That is the sound of inevitability." We need a turnaround. We need...evitability.

Hinch is going to raving about how many innings he was able to get out to Morton. When Morton should be out of this game by now.

Now they lost the ability to hit all over again. Strikeout the side.

I hope this isn't a sign of the team losing focus and packing it in - strikes out the side....argggggh
Hanley needs to get his flag out and go ballistic on the bench a bit to wake this team up (again)

JBJ struggling. that 1-1 pitch had damage written all over it.

Realistic for JBJ to be the primary asset in a off season trade for Stanton?
