They're meant to be a lot less formal than other threads on the forum, so to moderate them the same way would be silly. However, we do ask posters to maintain a certain level of decorum in these threads, and we plan on moderating the Gameday threads a little more actively this season. In particular, we ask that posters refrain from being overly repetitive with their posts (if you've made your point, let it go), refrain from monopolizing the discussion (if you are making more than a couple posts in a row, you probably need to slow down a little bit), and of course, follow the Ground Rules (link). The point is to make these threads worth participating in and fun for all posters, from our long-time fixtures to people just signing up today. -The Management

Ah, back to baseball - I hate nights off (but am sure the players love them).
Which offense will show up tonight?

Robby Scott recalled, Haley optioned. I don't know why they didn't do this a week ago in the first place instead of selecting Haley's contract to begin with.

Listening to the Twins broadcasters, I'm assuming off-field was a major factor in Sano being sent down. They mentioned a strict schedule for on and off field activities then said it's up to Manuel when he'll return.

I wish we could have a 5-6 person lineup and then just use "ghost men" to mark the bases like we (I?) did growing up.

Red Sox batting people, please don't waste another brilliant Sale outing, K? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but Cora needs to get his head out of his ass with Nunez. Play him against lefties.....that's it.

What a total waste of a roster spot Nunez is.

Devers gets knocked down and then he takes Berrios out a couple of pitches later. Lots of cojones there.

Seemed like Sale meant to hit Mauer. Risky not to take the out

Well, I don't know how it's possible to get Escobar out when he can hit a line drive to left field on a ball that's about 6 inches off the ground.

Geez - do I really have to rant about the absurdity of this Sox team losing to a sub-.500 team...again!?!

You could see this coming. No runs other than Devers bomb and the other team scratches out a hit in a bad inning and you're behind, even though you've only allowed 3h.
