I'm actually hoping for some meaningful dialog. Something a bit more intelligent than early signs of Alzheimer's or acts like a five year old. ADD: For reference, I don't like Trump as a person, I think he's a dick. About the only good thing I can say is that he has a gorgeous wife. Politics though shouldn't be a personality thing (my favorite was Clinton, I still think he's the coolest President we've had) it should be about results.

This was my main objection to the world affairs of the previous administration and why I kept saying Obama sold out the American worker. Since The Philippines is the only Christian country in Asia and maybe more importantly the only US ally in the China Sea maintaining that relationship was important. The writing has been on the wall for a while now, Duterte has consistently said that he liked Trump but he didn't think it wise to put all the eggs in one basket and depend on a country that was going to change policies every four years. Duterte (the Philippines) was also recently named to be the negotiator between China and the entire ASEAN block of countries. That block of 10 countries has about 2 1/2 times the population of the USA. That's a big market that is about to go poof. news.abs-cbn.com/news/11/20/18/list-philippines-china-sign-29-deals-in-xi-jinping-visit?fbclid=IwAR0mZWr7JcIrmF_L7jiAF15gqiUGTHZjRC3xBtR8m8-RE3zp66tAZc5f2yoNote: MOU #1 is referring to Subic Bay which sits at the focal point of the all of Southeast Asea and will become one of the world's largest shipping ports. MOU#2 refers to the disputed islands in the China Sea. It's estimated that the world's largest known oil and natural gas deposits lie under the sea. You can also thank billionaires Odymeyer (owner of EBay) for generating fake news published in the USA tabloids and New York billionairess Lewis who got caught colluding with the ICC to file fake charges against Duterte and Obama's Ambassador to the Philippines, Philip Goldberg who left behind a document to undermine Duterte. If you look at his history, he was basically Obama's henchman. Lol, Duterte called him a gay and Obama ended up having the Department of State dealing with him.

This (as in the SoxProspects.com forums, writ large) is not the place for a monologue on politics. That’s true regardless of political persuasion. Thanks.

Just to clarify that it's not just my personal opinion, here's what Trump had to deal with in the Philippines. Locsin said the US government’s decision to step back “wasn’t appeasement. It was Obama selling us out.” “He told China and the Philippines to stand down and pull out of Scarborough. We did. China did not. He just smiled at China,” the Foreign Affairs chief explained.
He said it keeps on happening with the US. “Under Trump and (Vice President Mike) Pence, this might change,” he added.
“Never stick your neck out farther than the US is willing to stick out its thick and powerful neck. Remember. Obama sold us out, twice at that,” Locsin said. tribune.net.ph/index.php/2018/11/24/du30-locsin-blame-obama/?fbclid=IwAR31NxvTNVOBp7esSPigPtPbtdT5tj2WmCM5_5rrEeK3pXz7q7DAKGY-zagAnd note, that's the feeling throughout SE Asia. Here's a pic from Japanese TV, note that it's Obama in the picture:

Question for the Democrats. Who do you see emerging as the new leadership ? There seems to be a lot of controversy surrounding Pilosi.

If you want to get caught up with what's happening in the Middle East, here\s a pretty comprehensive look. You can skip past the prayer and start at 2:20.
If you add the pieces together, you can easily figure out why the US will be reluctant to push anything about the Saudi journalist who was recently murdered.

We've given this about a week now and it remains a monologue. As such, I'm going to go ahead and lock it for reasons previously discussed.
