In high school they took away our Uno cards because they thought we were gambling with them.
In hindsight I'm proud they thought I was such a derelict that I was gambling on my Uno game. At the time I felt inconvenienced, though.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

When you look at the context of where and when he lived I don't think you can say everyone was racist. That only happens if you base it off of todays context and that makes zero sense. Your either a racist in your time period or you're not. A guy that isn't considered a racist today, can't become one in 100 years because of a cultral change. I'm just talking in general, I have no opinion on Cobb haven't done any research on him. When I grew up in the 40âs and 50âs, virtually everyone everywhere would he considered racists today. Virtually everyone. The terms Mick, Harp, Paddy (as in wagon), Guinney, Wop, Dago, Sheenie, Kiké, Frog, Polock, Spic, Chink, Slant eyes, Gook, Round eyes, Honkie were almost as common as hello and goodbye. And this doesnât even list the most offensive words and phrases, or those used against Blacks, Mexicans ... or the LGBTQ communities. And, no, it wasnât whites who uniquely specialized in racism. It was normal, day to day conversation in every insulated tribe against every other insulated tribe; and few saw it as racism or bias, even the popular phrase ânot in my neighborhoodâ. The transition from those tribal attitudes to todayâs drive for inclusivity and equality was long and, I can attest, often bloody and violent. Thank God itâs over, though the 2018 voter suppression techniques against Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans, among other recent events, would challenge that statement. âDemocrats constantly harp on alleged threats to "our democracy" â which is odd, given their authoritarian proclivities, but again, they project. They see no inconsistency in advocating that immigrants here illegally be allowed to vote and railing against foreign interference in our elections. Here again, they invoke race. Republicans, they baselessly claim, suppress minority votes. If liberals truly cared about the integrity of "our democracy," they'd support voter identification measures, because reasonable people understand that you should have to prove you are who you claim to be before you can vote. How patronizing of Democrats to suggest that minorities are incapable of accomplishing this menial task as a condition for participating.www.cnsnews.com/commentary/david-limbaugh/david-limbaugh-racism-its-everywhere-its-everywhere?utm_source=cnsnews&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=limbaugh-racism-everywhere-cns&fbclid=IwAR2A1M7SfHQ-VofNnMOM2ExZDpBXnHqUJmh5VwkBrbGAVWC4UtC8kzypoak

There have been multiple comments by people of color to that effect and it's been studied, by Yale no less: While Yale said it’s possible liberals just want to come across as more likeable by using less hoity-toity verbiage, researchers Cydney Dupree and Susan Fiske said it’s also likely that they’re buying into the stereotype that minorities are less educated or intelligent than whites.
“It was kind of an unpleasant surprise to see this subtle but persistent effect,” Dupree says. “Even if it’s ultimately well-intentioned, it could be seen as patronizing.” www.mrctv.org/blog/yale-study-finds-white-liberals-dumb-down-their-speech-when-talking-blacksbut-conservatives?fbclid=IwAR2XKOspaCgI9_-5yNIHyE90nfOXm0XSSAysZlvdmVgG3CXnvc8I_UM7saIOn the other hand, it's OK, as long as they don't use the n word and waive race cards around. The Democratic party needs some serious plank adjustment and new leadership.

Let's not forget sexism where the left seems to think that creating mobs will make a difference. The USA now ranks 50th in gender gap this after 8 years of Obama where they ended up ranked 47th. www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_GGGR_2018.pdfThe Philippines ranks 8th, they've moved up from 10th 2 years ago. On the other hand, we now have clarification on an important issue. Gingerbread cookies are male. Baby, it's cold outside.
