I'm about to start The Outsider which is getting incredible reviews. Still has a 9.2 on IMDB. Based on a Stephen King book. This must be why Ozark took a long break since Jason Bateman is in it. But Ozark is returning in February or March. Ozark is great TV. I don’t really ever binge watch, but I went through both seasons pretty quickly.

It's been years since I watched Breaking bad, yet I was confused by the scene with Jesse's and Mike at the river. Given the cars and his face it was a flash back, yet did we ever see that before? Trying to tie that into the original and when that happened. I think it was a "new" flashback but I'm not 100% sure. It's new. The Making of featurette that autoplayed after showed them filming it.

Anyone watch “Cheer”? It is a pretty interesting look at a different kind of college athletics. Very well done.

Loving The Outsider so far. Anyone else watching?
Servant is really good, I finished season one a week ago.
Also looking forward to Homeland and Better Call Saul in the next few weeks.

Better Call Saul is my only appointment viewing right now. Love it. Still think it's a more impressive accomplishment than Breaking Bad.

I loved the first season of Outsider, wasn't a huge fan of the second season in Paris so I kinda stopped. On my list to get back too when I have time. I love Homeland, just watched the first three episodes of the last season. Can't wait for season four of The Last Kingdom, it's not GOTs, but it's the next best thing in my book.

Is Brockmire worth a watch? I saw it pop up on Hulu. Brockmire is absolutely hilarious, it may be my favorite comedy series of all time. A few warnings: it is incredibly profane, nihilistic, documents addiction in a funny but horrifying way, crude, rude, and all together shocking and inappropriate. I probably relate way to much with the central character, but the show is comedic gold.

Part of why I don’t eat meat. I hope 50 years from now people look back at how we treat animals the way we judge other forms of inhumanity in the past.

I’m saying as a rule animals get treated in a way that some people view as poorly. And others view as a way that you treat animals. In no way am I saying that what is happening on “Tiger King” is good. This industry, according to this show, is filled with absolute scum. More-so I’m just saying that people that don’t live around animals don’t realize how most are treated, trained, bred and fed. I’m not talking about pet dog. But cattle, horses, pigs, chickens and tigers. Obviously tigers should have been left in the wild 100 years ago. But we are past that now, so it’s a hard solution. But these tigers treated pretty good compared to raising livestock.

I won't watch Tiger King. I saw some of the clips and backstory to know enough that it would not be my kind of deal. I read it is the #1 show in America, or something like that.
I think back to the Original "Real World" on MTV. it was kind of the first "Reality" show for me (at least a show based on nothing substantive, but shows human ego / narcissism at its worst) though I am sure there were others types of this genre before it.
Those shows lowered the bar enough on human dignity and civility that we have the world we live in now, where anyone who can pimp themselves properly on TV, Internet, Radio...etc...etc....can make big bank / noteriety and we can continue the race to the bottom. Yes, I left the 18-49 demo a while back and they don't care about me, but I thank God I got to watch the TV shows of the 70's and 80's.

Honestly, I think looking at those tigers — or knowing about our methods of raising meat — and not being horrified is a moral blindness. Just watch the show, and you see they are under and poorly fed, abused, and kept in overcrowded enclosures. This isn’t even to mention the forced breeding and executions. No one should own exotic animals, and the people in the show should all spend long stretches in their own cages.

I couldn't agree more.

I’ve got one episode left on season three of Ozark. It’s as good as season two. The writers deserve Emmy nominations and at least three of the cast do as well. This is good stuff.
Better Call Saul is having a fantastic season as well.

I watched the first episode of Tales from the Loop on Amazon. Kind of slow interesting Sci Fi.

The simple comparison for Ozark is Breaking Bad. The story is about a regular guy who gets caught up in illegal activity and his life spirals in very dire ways. One chaotic event leads to the next. The second and third seasons were both much more compelling to me than was the first, even considering that I enjoyed the first season a ton.
I think I’d rate Breaking Bad as my all time favorite drama (Seinfeld is my favorite program regardless of genre) but Ozark is easily in that same conversation for me. Laura Linney (and her character) gets better and better as the show goes on. The character “Ruth” is completely fascinating too. It’s one of those series where I envy someone who is just starting it as they have fantastic screen time coming.

Seems obvious:
Carole Baskin killed Jeffrey Epstein.
I started watching Westworld season 3. Episode 2 had an interesting twist, a dragon and characters that looked like Game of Thrones. I wonder where they are going with that.

What are people watching? I only ask because I'm looking for some stuff to watch because there are only two shows I'm watching per week in Yellowstone and Snowpiercer.

you probably have heard of this one but its worth mentioning again. i would like to suggest Friends. its a great sitcom and besides the cheer you will get, you will learn alot by watching it. it represents social situations in a unique style. i have been watching a random episode before sleeping for a while now.

Any American Horror Story watchers? I came across a YouTube video, things you didn’t know about American Horror Story. In the 1st season, there is an episode with four high school students that were named after former Red Sox players. Greenwell, Boggs, Gedman and Stapleton. Halloween: Part 2 (2011)
